Where to buy: full tilt model a.

looking to spend under $400.

also, if anyone knows how much the il moros will be that would be nice because if they're cheaper i will go for those.

my aunt's house is like 15 minutes away from there so i'll try them on in person when i go in august.

oh yeah, i need size 29

I have always thought as those being more of a touring/tele boot than a park boot. Do they preform well? Your setup is looking really dope man, keep it up.

this guy is just doing random posts on all of the threads. this doesn't even make sence, there is no sale.

A touring/tele boot?

Please tell me you're kidding...

The Full Tilt is just a re-naming of the Flexon, which literally has a cult following among some of the best skiers in the world (Seth Morrison, for one). They are a great boot, intended for alpine, not touring or tele...in any way.

go on the full tilt website that i posted above, and watch the video that's on the mainpage, it will give you all you need to know. the flex and the boot are completely adjustable by the skier.

not really, but...

i think there is a differance between flexes because of the fifferance between tounges. this is important to me because i found the bumblebee for $429, but i dont want a super stiff boot. it's hideous but i figure i can always dye it if its that bad.

as i said before i need flex index 85-95

What you're saying is completely irelevent, because each company has it's own flex index chart...therefore a 95 flex in a Salomon boot won't be the same a 95 in a Tecnica boot, and so on and so forth.

Well a 'park boot'(if there is such a thing) isn't at all the same as a tele or touring boot.

Thet fact is that the Flexon/ Full Tilt are amazing boots, and if they fit your foot they are good for any type of skiing, 'park boot' is a ridiculous term for any boot.

Not in context to the Dalbello flex index.

I've skied the Rampage, and an old Flexon, but the new Full Tilt will have a different flex than the old Flexons I used.

what was the flexon's flex like? as it may give me an idea of the full tilt flex. and did you like the flexons? how were they compared to the rampages?

I liked the Rampages better, I think the Flexons I have are too big though, for one thing, and the liner is crap, not the Intuition liner in the Full Tilt models.

The way they flex is similar, nice, long forward flex, I felt like the Rampage was alot more solid laterally, tranfered more carving power to the ski, but like I said...could be the fit and liner on the Flexons I have.

The toebox on the Rampage is very cold because the shell and liner are very thin in that area...even when it isn't really cold out, your toes might feel it. I liked the buckles on the Rampages vs. the wire bales on the Flexon...they were hard to adjust, and hard to get dialed for me.

could you nitice the weight differance, and do you know if next year's rampage liner is warmer, and how much the boot will cost?

Didn't notice the weight really, but I used them a season apart, that being said, I'm almost 100% sure the Rampage is heavier. Don't know about the toebox on next years, probably the same...but get the Krypton Cross or Il Moro with the ID liner and you shouldn't be cold.

Whatever you do, try them on first...if you know the Flexons fit you and the size that does, you're safe ordering the Full Tilt, but otherwise, try to try on all the boots you're considering, hell, these boots might not fit you at all, you may have feet that are wider and need something like the SPK or a Tecnica Vento...and orthodics will play a big role too, if you have pronation or anything, have orthodics made and take them with you to try on boots.

the only thing that worries me with the il moro is the price. as i said i can only spend $400. as for the cross, i would have to see what it looked like and i would only really consider it if it was significantly cheaper.

What do the pro and the rampage cost when they're first released? just so i can get an idea of what i'll be paying if i end up with those boots.

I wanna say it went something like:

Krypton Pro - $599

Krypton Cross - $499

Krypton Rampage - $399

But I could be wrong, they might've been different when first released. The Pro is the most expensive though, and the stiffest, the cross is basically the same boot as the the Pro with a softer tongue and the shock absorbing baseboard, and the Rampage is the cheapest and softest of the line.

Not sure, I got my Rampages for a little over $300 right after they came out, but I got them cheaper than normal cause the shop gave me a deal (not a proform) cause I was an instructor at the local moutain.
