unless you really want to drop 50 dollars on the newest pair of scotts, go to your local mountains rental shop and permanantly borrow a pair of poles. tell them your intentions, they will give them to you most likely. they have hundreds anyway, and will get more. expensive poles break just as much as cheap ones.

i got mine for 2$ at a ski swap and hav used them for like 3 years

at my ski hill there way at the back of the rental shop( employees only area) and they ask for your wallet to make sure you bring them back and if you dont have something like that to make sure you return them they wont let you rent and they sure as hell wouldnt let you borrow them so you can just not bring them back. There fucking queer.

get a pair of goode composite poles. you can get the older models for like $35 and they will last you forever... they are damn near indestructible
