I know the diffrences guys..I am into photography and i do know what i want and what im talking about.

Just going for the 2 because if there is the right 30D for the right price, i would choose that over a 40D...

Im not to sure what buttsucks is whining about how i asked i want either camera and claims i dont know what im talking about, but i guess he woke up on the wrong side of the pillow today lol
 
I thought the 30D was the hot new camera that just came out and i thought canon was the lower the number the better, opposite of nikon? Hmm
