dude, not to claim, but i have 90 dollar ski poles and i have to say... well worth the money, that is if you spend your money. the Scott WC SL poles are mad light and strong, so im happy with my purchase. and if the kid has the money to spend, why knock on that?

still. pretty much most poles are the same, why would you pay 60 when you could easily find some for like 15
