WTB - ARG's

I got a pair of 07/08 Armada ARG's with 07/08 Salomon Z10 bindings mounted on them. I took them out on pow days only (5-6 times). I can send pics if you're interested.

400 for just skis, 525 with bindings (race axial 140s) + shipping. I would almost prefer selling only skis though.
 
thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. pow ski = charging powder, pillows, cliffs, lines, yet you say you don't need a burly binding for that? hmm.....
 
That's exactly what I'm saying. Pow = soft, fluffy, light snow. When you drop a cliff drop into pow it's like landing in a bed of fluffy pillows as opposed to pounding down the hill on ice. A rock hard mogul field you would need a higher din binding for. A 10 din binding is night a kids binding. It's rated to 210lb person. This is what came with the ski when I purchased it and I have never had a single problem with them.
 
I'm sorry but im a 210 pound person and i would NEVER ski those bindings, i need at least 12 in the back and 10 in the front. Only good salo binding is s916 and i still wouldnt buy them.
 
your so wrong. common bindings on charging pow skis are s916s, fks 185-55, sth 16, and other similar bindings because you need a durable binding to ski hard, not shitty 10 din beginner bindings.
 
Um actually know, im not. I used salo binders for like 3 years, broke like 4 pairs and i didnt even ski that hard, i was like 13-15, their binders are not meant for me, its all about rossi-look race stock, period. If you like salo binders, buy them i dont care, have fun warrantying them at least once.
 
yeah, for sure. My buddy got the 916 heavys and still managed to bust a heel plate.

I've got some 07-08 ARG's for 350 shipped. They've got some marker comp 14's (i got them for 40 bucks and that was all the money I had at the time) mounted on them at the -6 mounting point for a boot sole length of 301mm (26.5 Fullt Tilt Konflict)

I'm not at home for a while but I will post pics asap.

They were ridden about 8 times. Of course, everytime was on pow. They're in immaculate condition all around and were hot waxed 3 times and stone ground once.

Reason for selling: I want more sidecut. (ie. hellbents, Ep pros, or next year's JP vs. Juliens) although these are epic on deep days as well
 
yes, really. I love'm but I know I would love Ep's Hellbents or Jp Jul more.

aren't you....um...."heavier" than most of us?

but no, i'm a solly binder fan although i don't really like the all plastic ones, the best ones were the s900 series
 
what bindings were u on? I doubt you were skiing their race stock bindings, not many 13 year olds break a pair of 916s
 
I have 2009 Armada ARG's, still in the plastic for sale. The new graphics are fucking ill so PM me for some prices and pictures. these things are gunna be gone in a flash.

What are the 09 ARG's going for? Are they the 08/09 that will be in stores this year? If you could that be ill if you could hook me up with some pics or upload them up in the forum. I have been riding the JJ's this past season and I love them, and I was thinking on buying this years as well. Thats if all my shit works out in Switzerland this year. Hit me back soon.

As much as I would love to just hook all of you up, I have bills to pay. This is a good opportunity for someone to get these skis before they come out in the fall.
