WTB advice on skis/bindings

Hey all, hope y'all had a good Christmas.

Anyway... I'm looking to get back into skiing, so I need some "professional" advice. And I did search, but I find that these questions differ from person to person so here they are...

1. I'm 5'9 and about 155lbs, what is the recommended ski length? I'm not new to skiing, but it will take me a couple of runs to get me back in track.

2. Bindings? What is a reliable, durable and well-performing binding? I don't plan to go crazy in the park.

3. Finally, which skis? I'm going to be skiing 80% mountain and 20% park, so I mainly want a ski that can hold its own on the slope... I've read chronics and PEs are great all-mountain skis, but they are a bit pricey... what about the silencers?

Thanks! And If any of you have skis/bindings to sell that fit me, by all means, let me know!

You can always find some PE's from a year or two ago. My dad got a pair a few weeks ago from SKI and GOLF for $250. Get a Look Px-12 binding. They are the easiest to find at a good price and they are great for just about everything.

I'm no pro on the Silencers but from what I understand they are a more park specific ski. Anyone know?

Yea silencers are more park specific and they are a much much much softer ski than anything like the PE. PE's are a great all mountain as they're reasonably stiff and pretty much bomb proof. And the look px12 or any Dynastar/rossignol/look binding is gonna be pretty kick ass. Go for the TI model as they're much lighter overall.

ok great, so the PEs it is... I'm not a bad skiier, what size ski should I get? and where should I mount if I'm doing mostly mountain (not park)? Thanks guys for the responses.

I got some top notch advice, mint condish, only used like 1 or 2 times. I'd be willing to let it go for 50 shipped. pm me.
