WTB: 4frnt deadbolt 412

not getting the z12 anymore?

The deadbolts seem solid, ive heard of one problem, and thats it. Good choice, but have you concidored look/rossignol? The pivots are great, safe, and running out.

My deadbolts broke, but I think that I just got a defective pair or something. 4frnt was cool with the warranty and fixed them so I'm not gonna complain about them being bad unless it happens again

yeah id be happy with the deadbolts or the z12s, whatever i can find cheaper, as for the looks/ rossis i want something lighter.

I hear ya there. The z12's are a fair bit lighter than my px12's, but my new fks 120's are a bit lighter than the z12's.

Hahaha, word to that, the Z bindings break so easily.

I was thinking of going with the 614 deadbolts for my JP vs. Juliens (after ripping out a PX heelpiece)...but I'm thinking about getting the STH 12 now, it's based on the Z series but I've heard it's been beefed up alot for freestyle/freeride applications. Also considering the Marker Jester, but since it's marker I'd probably wait a year to see how they check out before getting a pair.

Good choice on that. The Deadbolts were the same way. They had a few problems during the first season, but after that, they were good. Might want to do the same thing with the jesters.

yeah i got deadbolt 614s and i love em. had a pair of px's and 2 pairs of pivots and didnt like em as much as my deadbolts. super solid and the break system dominates the pivots and px. i broke at least 5 pairs of breaks with my pivots...id reccomend deadbolts anyday

bump, and are they coming out with a new 9 series-like toe piece for the sth bindings as well as the z style? and how much will those be?

Not sure on the price of either...but the STH 12 is based on the Z series, and the STH 16 is based on the 9 series...it's basically a 916 heel (with some lightened parts) and the 914 toe with a 16 DIN spring.

yeah but wats sweet bout the fks 120 is that theyre about the same weight as p12s, and barely heavier than salomon like u said. such a good binder

it looks different of the 914

True, but it's definitely not the 916 toe either...I'm pretty sure it's the 914 with a couple (mostly cosmetic) tweaks.

bump and if anyone knows how much next years salomon sth12 bindings are going to be in USD than that would be nice because i want to know if it would be worth the extra $$$

its cosmetic pieces. they actually have some of the most solid binders besides fks.p18. the plastic is cause vist who makes the bindings, has plastic kits you can buy to custimize them.
