hey, i just saw it for the first time. what a dissapointment. i respect what they were trying to do, but im sorry i like to see skiing in ski movies. the worst of the segments was rory's where maybe 25% of it was skiing and the rest was just him killing people. it was lame. dash's, pollard's and tanner's segments were ok because they were the ones that featured the most skiing but i wasnt down with that movie at all. it sucks, i was so stoked to see it.

yea i wasn't to impressed with it but i mean there was still good skiing. rory's part was just plain gay

You mean the epilepsy-like-flashes of old horror flicks and cartoons? If that's your thing. Rory had sick skiing in his seg though. I liked the unnaty/natu cork 7's shown side by side; they were almost identical.

Wski106 has this quite unique mellow feeling to it. all though more skiing is something none should disagree with

 
I agree the editing in rory's part seems really well done, but I don't really like the horror themed thing. If it didnt have him killing those two people It would be one of my favourite segments. But it's hard to fast forward threw.. so it's hard to watch it over and over..

But overall I really enjoyed the movie. It has some of my favourite riders and amazing skiing. But as diffrent as it was, I don't really like the themed deal. If it just had a little.. like to give it a vibe then I think it would have been a overall smoother movie. But they kinda went over the top with it, but it makes for a diffrent movie so its all good :)

The movie sucked dick. There isn't one thing in that movie that I haven't seen before. If your going to make a film than do something that I haven't seen. Nothing in skiing has changed in five years other than this new additude that we are the shit. If your not going to do something that we haven't seen then why waste your time. Mabey make a film that puts the audiences on their heels by shooting it in a way as if the person watching it was right there with the athletes. This would create a feeling that would get people pumped to ski. Right now we have a bunch of films that put the athletes on this pedistole (spell check) as if they are radder people than anyone else. Thats been done over and over. Tell a story of the adventure and the rad mountains we ride. I showed this film to some people that have never skied and they were over it after ten minutes. Same shit with a lame fagget additude.

 
I think its unfair to say the movie suck. But if you did not like it thats ok, thats all your prefrence. But I would hope your able to see that it was a well put together movie with amazing skiing, even if you feel there wasn't enough of it.

 
pollards seg was a bit long with not enough skiing, but i really liked the midgets, and mickael/shoya, and CR, and tanner. rory's seg scared me so i have to skip it even though he's an ill skier. and really i just like what they were doing. it was cool, doing it like a radio show, and having raps as the DJ... i mean come on stop being so mad about it cuz it was cute, it was a skit, and you gotta not take it so seriously. i dunno, i thought it was good.

im not taking it seriously, i even laughed at a lot of the shit. it just needed a lot more skiing

yeah, the skiing was disappointing, everything else was pretty well done, except they should have ditched the radio show idea. none of the segments had anything to do with that, they should have just made the segs and put them out there.

 
I find it interesting that people keep expecting movie makers to reinvent the wheel when it comes to skifilms. That is about as far outside of the box as you can go as far as a production is concerned. I have seen so many ski films, that I was stoked to see something different. I dont know what you are talking about with I haven't anything new in five years. I could probably list a dozen new and impressive progressions in the sport, but that's not what Iberg set out to do. In my humble opinion, I believe Iberg wanted to capture and portray each athlete's personality and unique riding style. I think he did a hell of a job of accomplishing that. If that's what you want to see, check out the movie, its dope. If you are expecting an orgy of the world's sickest shots in immediate progression, there are good movies for that too.

the first time i saw it i didnt like it much, i thought there wasnt enough skiing and too much filler like the ads inbetween segments (they still piss me off). but the more you watch it the more it grows on u and now i think it is simply SICK. it has a completely different vibe to every other ski movie and it is refreshing to watch. though i think all the shots of tanner blowing smoke into the camera are lame and shouldnt b in it- cmon man its a ski movie 4 fucks sake. other than that its a phat movie with an overall chill vibe (o yea - rorys segment is a tad overdone though)
