if they cut out everything but the skiing and put it to different music, then it'd be good. But probly like 5mins long cuz theres very little actual skiing in it, just a bunch of bullshit. when i buy a ski movie i want to see some skiing

Wski was an awesome ski movie, it is unlike any other ski movie i have ever see. there was no trick after trick after trick segments, it really well edited i think. and poorboyz movies are awesome, i have seen X and that is awesome.

rory's segment made me laugh soo hard, i love that segment sooo much. and tanners segment has the highest level of skiing to date. mickeals and shoyas segment is pimpin, period. cr's is a great, great segment, humerous too. wski is an excellent movie.

here is my review

BEST MOVIE YET

Eric Pollard: The big mountain song was smooth and good but the skiing is just a little boring. It is mostly recycled shots from Yearbook. The jumps part was another good song, slightly more entertaining. He fell alot but he was mostly falling while landing switch in powder, i enjoyed it anyway.

Kye/Sean Petit:

A wierd song but it was a cool song. I never knew those little kids were so good. Each of them killed it. Kye is better but he is also 3 years older.

Rory Silva:

A sick song. If you dont like Marylin Manson then go to hell. Everything was perfect, the murder, eating the heart, and especially the skiing. His skiing shots were so sick, i loved it. It was the best segment EVER.

Dash Longe:

A good song, i dont remember the name but its a classic/western rock song that everyone knows. He killed all the handrails and was good in the air too. It did not show all of his jump skills but he was still good.

Mickael/Shoya:

The only segment that was a little dissapointing. I was hoping to see alot of Mickael, but what was there was good. The pimp theme was pretty fitting for mickael. I dont know much about Shoya but he was pretty smooth as well.

CR Johnson:

The top gun theme was pretty cool. Like someone said earlier, not the most progressive stuff but a very good segment. He is pretty good in the backcountry.

Tanner Hall:

A really good seg. Unlike most of you who are all over his wang, it is not the best segment. Rory Silva has a better segment. Tanner pretty much killed everything though. Rory had a better segment.

Overall: Rory Silva, Best segment. Sorry Tanner lovers. 5 stars.

i thought that part in the shed was really wierd, the trailer was so sick and i think everyone expected it to be the best movie this year but i think it was a huge disapointment

well i mean i can see how a lot people didnt like this movie simply becasue theres not that much skiing in it. I mean mick/shoya's segment had what 8-9 ski clips for 2 riders? thats ridiculous. Midgets segment was the best casue there was a lot of skiing in it. Silva's segment didnt have a lot of skiing in it at all. Same with Dash. I mean some of the filler stuff just got annoying. Unique movie but no where near the best simply b/c it needs more skiing i think. Wicked had a lot of random crap too BUT it had a lot skiing in it-a lot more than wski which is why wicked still has my vote for # 1.

i kinda understand wat they r trying to do by making it different, but i thought it was terrible. the only little bit of progressive or good skiing was tanners part, and most of the vid wasnt even skiing. i think wicked is probably the best of the year.

Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.
 
The movie sucked. No powder. One kind of skiing only. I hate rich kids that act black. Tanner can't ski and Yearbook showed that. He hates MSP now because they exposed how he can't ski.

You don't want to watch big cliffs and pow because you never ski it. You live in the east where the pow sucks. Your right I would rather watch that than trick after trick off the same jump. That kind of skiing keeps you in one spot all day. 200 hundred flat vert that only changes when they rearrange the jumps doesn't do it for me. Theres more to our sport than that but you wouldn't know because you live in the east.

 
Overall I enjoyed the movie. Definetly not the best ski movie ever made but it was definetly a step in the right direction in the revolution of ski movies. What I mean is I like the idea of there being a theme to the movie, not just a name. If I heard right before I think it was said somewhere that the riders had some input towards their sections and that helps out a little bit in reflecting they're personalities. The skiing that was in it was definetly sick. Everyone in my opinion had a sick segment, there was not one segment that I utterly disliked. The editing in my opinion for Rory's segment was sick. I loved some of the angles too, they were kind of different from the angles you're use to.

You respect it more. Why? Don't you respect all aspects of skiing? Seth, Shane, Nobis and Kent all were heavily into racing and thats why they are where they are now. Your brain and others on this site are the reason why our sport regresses. Did you know that someone has skied: 160mph, off a 220ft cliif, off a jump and flew two football fields, off a vert jump and threw a quad quad. Look at the numders behind skiing and compare it to any other sport. It is the most diverse sport out there and you have to respect all aspects of it because that what makes it so great. Dip shit. Saying that you Respect parking more only means to me that thats all you know and thats to bad.

 
i never said i dont respect cliffs and steep lines, morresson is my boy. and you're saying that its ok if someone just skis big lines, but its not ok if someone just skis park? fucking hypacrit. Tanner doesnt need to prove himself as a skier by skiing big mountain, just like someone who crochets dope earflap-hats doesnt need to prove themselves by making a sweater.

I respect park skiers. I don't like Tanner becuase he's a dick. I don't like movies that only show one aspect of skiing. I don't like you because when you say things like 'I repect park skiing more'. this movie kicked fuckin ass, the editting was the best iv ever seen, it was sooo creative and new, i was and still am amazed at it.there was not one bad skiier in this movie i ever skip over any segments.and to the kids who say that tanners segment sucked, shut the hell up and u can start talkin as soon as you 630 on as smooth as he can. this and high five are tied for second best movie of the year supoably wicked beats out both of the by a shit load. so fuck all of you who say this movie sucked

 
I liked the filming in this movie and the editing done to the few actual skiing shots in the movie. Overall, i thought this movie was horrible. Super!, High Five, X, First Light, Redtape, and lots of SNOWBOARD movies i've seen this year kill this moive.

I liked tanner's segment though.
