it was super dope, downtown, outside projected onto a huge wall with all the rock stars. best movie out this year for sure. 3 thumbs up. and it was T's 21st b-day party :)

That was THE dopest ski film I have EVER seen! All of the riders were there... Deschenaux had gold fronts, Dash's date was slammin', Tanner's mom had shirt on with a picture of Tanner wearing a pink tutu when he was little, Kye is the craziest little kid I have ever met, and Iberg was super nice. All of the PB guys were super cool too.

I loved how different it was. Rory Silva's segment was pychotic. If you haven't seen it yet, you are in for a treat.

 
sorry Rex, but the REAL premiere was in Quebec october 8th at Le Cactus...Belanger even presented the movie from a mini dv tape since the dvd wasn't even out yet.

Oh my... I really hope you guys are kidding. WSKI was one of, if not THE, worst ski movie I've seen. The footy was suck, and there was way too much of that commercial BS. It was just an all around lame movie. Is that the ONLY ski movie you guys have seen, or what the hell? Seriously now... The movie was a big disappointment. X was good, though.

Hahahaha alright... Everyone at the premiere in Tahoe agreed. It was made quite apparent when over half of them left between movies. Just listen to popular opinion. They'll agree with me. This isn't the first thread that's been made on WSKI. Look under the media and arts forums as well, I believe.

I found the movie hilarious. midget. it wasn't the best movie of the year, but it was one of the most creative, and youl never see another one like it probably. I enjoyed the creativity, if not always what it said. It was tanners project and he had a blast with it. like it or not it was what it was. deffinatly not for everyone, probably not a pump up movie to go skiing, like X, but itheld its own fairly well. and tanner himslef claimed that the freshtival was the oficial premier, maybe he says that often, I couldn't tell ya. ciao

Hahahaha, now you're bringing 'smarts' into this. You are just a big joke. I will now completely disregard everything you've said because of that. No way can I take you seriously now. You have no idea the level of mine or anyone else's intellect, and what do smarts have anything to do with determining how good a ski movie is, anyway? Yes, there was creativity in it, and yes, I liked the midget part, but there wasn't much else good in it. To say is was the best ski movie of the year is an extreme exaggeration.

No offense to any of the riders or any of the people involved in the movie, I know half of them personally. But, I, as well as the majority of people during the premiere did not like the movie. Yes, it had creativity, but it lacked many other elements. Numerous people left the movie half way through - I think that speaks for itself.

The skiing wasn't all that interesting, the music didn't really flow with the segments, and the constant cutbacks to the radio talkshow and commericals really knocked the flow also.

It was a big distraction and people were booing in the crowd.

X was good, yearbook was good, wski was a flop.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

man if someone likes the movie then its their decision, a movie is art and you cant judge art by the popular opinion. If you don't like the movie great, if alot of people dont like the movie alright, but some people obviously do so just respect their opinion..

Well at freshtival almost everyone agreed that it was awsome. Maybe not everyone but alot of people dont like it because they dont like tanner and he was a huge part in making the movie. Is there anyone who dosent like tanner but does like the movie?

whoever didnt like this movie can go back to there twisters and daffys and suck a dick. better yet go watch shane mcconkeys base skiing segment in yearbook, that is some progressive rad stuff. NOT ONE OF IBERGS MOVIES HAS BEEN SKI PORN. They all take time to grow one you. Judging this movie from a first time veiwing is like judging a book by its cover. You all jump to conclusions way to fast. He always films the most progressive stuff and edits it together at industry leading standards. So fuck you all who have seen this film once and shit on it, you have no clue what your missing.

Well my opinion is that it fucking sucked! Does that mean you should take offense to it? You're welcome to--it's a free country (at least for now) but you probably shouldn't. Rockymountain that was probably the stupidest thing I've ever read. How old are you? Did you really just say 'seeing a movie once is like judging a book by its cover?' So what happens if I read a book once and don't like it? Does that mean that I judged the book by its cover? Point being--that made no fucking sense. The only you CAN make a judgement on something is by experiencing it. So--I'll slow down for you here--let's apply this to our conversation about WSKI. If I see WSKI, I can then make a quality judgement on whether or not I think it is good.

Iberg always trys to do different stuff which is really cool and respectable. Sometimes people like it and sometimes they dont but you ve got to respect the guy for being different and doing things the way HE wants. Think of what videos would be like if no one took risks on doing new stuff.

 
my snowboarder friend went to the premier and t's b-day party and just got trashed(obviously)but yeah he said it was a way sick film and he usually knocks on ski vids.so if a snowboarder said it was sick than i'm guessing it's pretty sick. i didn't get to go cause i had work
