Wraunchy boot odour. Solution?

Every worn boot has a certain 'musk' to it, because of course your foot sweats and you're in a cold environment. But mine has become so unbearable that I only need to be two feet away from the liner and I can smell it. How the hell do you get rid of boot stank?

take out the liner shove some dryer sheets in and let them sit over night, they end up smelling like lemon daisys!

its not letting me click the hyperlink so ill quote for clicky

take the liners out of the shell and throw both of them in the freezer until you go skiing again in a few days. The cold will freeze and kill all of the bacteria and it wont be bad for your boot at all!

some guy came in the shop today for new footbeds, and his boots STUNNK! and i had to put my hands in to take the stock footbeds out, and he had baby powder all over them my hands were caked with it, i was so grossed out by it, and they were wet too!! but he tipped me so i was thankful. So maybe try baby powder?

just get full tilts. they will solve all your problems.

but seriously, get 2 of those little ball things that take odor out of shoes. you can get them at most any shoe store.

If you take your liner out and wipe down the inside of your boot when your done skiing that will help. Also if your liners are wet or sweaty take them out and let them dry out so it doesnt get moldy. My friend throws his liners in a bucket of bleach every couple weeks to get rid of the bacteria.

dryer sheets+fabreeze= no more smell

and always dry your boots out every night, i went to my loacl shop and picked up a pair of boot dryers for $10 that i just slip into the boots when i get home and plug them in, the next morning my boots are nice and warm/dry

Freezer trick or shoving them in the snow is the best trick. We always suggest this trick to ALL our customer who complains about stinky liners.. It works like a charm.

I should definitely put my liners over the heater vent. They're always moist so it'd make sense to dry them.

I do a combo usually. Throw in some Bounce sheets, pull the liners ASAP after skiing, and freeze them if you have a few days between ski days. Mine still seem to end up stinking by the end of the season, but they get better over the summer.
