Wrap around liners FT classic

I noticed that the 2016 Full tilt classics don't have a wrap around liner like the 2015s do. I was just wondering why. I don't have much knowledge about any of it, but i always got the impression that wraparound liners were better.

So is there a reason for this?

I've tried on both and they have their plus and minus. i went with the 2016s

2015 liner:

easy to put on/off

they might last a little longer?

not in the liner but had a better shock absorber

2016 liner:

better, smoother flex imo

softer and comfier

not in the liner but had a worse shock absorber

has a built in tongue which is great but sucks at the same time

Get whatever is comfier

I miss the normal tongues in my langes because they fit my skinny legs better then ft's wrap around ones, so they definitely have their advantages. that said idk if the ft ones are just crappy cheap ones for their basic boot or if they are actually good

I have the intuitions pro tours which have the same thermocell foam as the power wraps, but I get a much better fit around my ankles and calves. Try each on and go with what feels better. You can always replace the liners if need be.

I have the 2016 classics and they were recommended to me because of my skinny calves. They fit me better than the wrap liners which would wrap strangely around my leg and would hold my ankle in an awkward way.
