Like i said, the picture is from last years xgames. So they would be this year thalls, and i just saw some clip on tv of them too, and they are white on top. Maybe a proto type of the pipe cleaner?

prototypes have different bases in some companies. If you notice, Salomon has a completely different base on their foils/thrusters/ etc. for the athletes at X and USFO than the bases you can get

don't believe any pictures you see in magazines, they're all photoshoped anyway, they prolly were the 07 bases or something and they didn't want them released so they photoshoped a black armada base in there

Ive kinda thought about how the pros kinda choose what they want, but i thought it was just weird how no one ever noticed that, they are pretty similar.

i would imagine that those are specially made pipe skis for T.

as said above the base is definatly diferent becuase hes skiing pipe and generaly pros use more high performance skis in pipe comps with harder faster bases that are not put on your everyday skis (with the exception of the candids and CR's from salomon) thats why the bases look diferent and the top sheets may just be a proto
