I'm going skiing on Monday!!! Minnesota got about 10 inches of snow a couple days ago but now it's melting some... I think we might get more tonight though.

Dude this suck I'v only skied twice usually I'v been about 10 times by now last year this time mount snow had a sick park up with a couple nice tables and a rail. I'm pissed

everybody do a dance for snow tonight especially if ur in the east.

 
the weather isnt promising, its looks a little colder next week but not below freezing. the funny thing is its snowing in mexico now...

oh man.. that sucks. I've been once and am going again tommorow, saturday. Loon is open with 5 trails.

As for the early season, later this week they will be blasting shit loads of snow around NE. Snow will be coming within a few weeks for good. Weather man dan says that this winter will be one to remeber...loads of big accumulations and cold weather late into spring.

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.

So far my season has consisted of a 11hr roadtrip to killington over thanksgiving break and a slip n slide with a rail set up in my yard. We better have snow till June in the east cause this is the worst. There is no cold weather in sight during the next 10 days, and the coldest it's gonna get is 31 and that is one day. man this sucks

 
This is really starting to get sooo sucky. It's gonna be 58 on tuesday! I('m tempted to hitchike westward.

god, in bethel, we are having the most fucked up weather, this week it was cold, then got warmer, then yeterday it snowed and was freezing until like 2, then it hailed, then it started rining, now its like 60....what the fuck?!, im gonna go crazy!

well, i have promising news. it will be cold sunday night and monday night so maybe they can blow tuesday night. but the low on wednesday is like 41. that sucks.

Uhhh, It will get kind of cold, but it will be an inversion, so they will not be able to MAKE snow. But, maybe, the front coming through on fri. will bring some colder air with it. Man i hope so...

Most years we dont even have snow on the ground until after christmas...I think we are comparing this year to last years way too much.

I went to sunday river today and it was the best day of the season...nice warm temps, no bare spots...semi-decent park. But of course it is going to be in the 50's through out wednesday

 
my mountains opened nov. 9 with all their chairs running. and ive been skiing 7 times. and our park outside has a hip and 2 rails.

I am starting to accept the warmness. Lake Erie is way above normal temperature-wise. When the tiemps finally drop to below freezing. The WESTERN NEW York region will get DESTROYED by Lake Effect snow squalls because the lake is soooooo warm.

i went skiing at woodbury today, it was 72 out, two rails a big ass kicker that we made, and no rope tow or lift running, a ticket was $15, that guys a rip off

I'm a little encouraged. Weather.com is predicting a low of 18 for next weekend by me, and lows below freezing for the rest of the weekend, so maybe we'll get a nice cool blast from our Canadians across the border and we'll be ready to go.

oh some funny shit happened today, i was at the instructor training course at Shawnee Pa today right, well this guy from NY comes up in his Lexus with his skis in in the back and is like, you guys are skiing right? cuz everyone had skis and snowboards cuz we had to bring our shit in to get checked, and we're like, uhh yea we were skiing all morning but all the snow melted. then i told him theres actually a trail open at the top that you have to walk to and he was like 'oh really?' then we started cracking up and hes like 'bullshit!' but oh well it was hilarious since it was 50 some out and we were all in tshirts and stuff

well the latest i heard from the weather channel is this:

they say that the east has not been getting cold weather/precipitation because

of a strong west to east wind that is blocking cold air from canada and precipitation

to break through. They are saying they expect this to break in 1-3 weeks. They are

still saying that this winter for the east will be 'A winter of extremes' ..sooo..stay tuned

it should get interesting soon.

wow if it is 3 weeks that would really really suck. I just really really want to go skiing even just one day could hold me over until we start getting snow. so i jsut want a couple inches to hit my rail
