ya, i was watchin top gear on the new BMW Z4 M roadster, sick sick car. i just went on thier site to oggle them more, and totally forgot the coupe version is out. BMW Z4M coupe is officaly my new dream car. plus, if you raced it out further, you could definatly do something cool with like an m4 assult rifle theme.

ugh i dont like this car...

but lemme know if this is the wrong one:

why does everyone always want some rediculously overpriced sporty car that they cant have?

guess its just me but im down for some shitbag car thats cheap as fuck.

hes saying its his dream car..he knows he cant afford it but its his DREAM car..

ur saying that if u were givin the choice betwen that car and a old piece of shit you would go with the piece of shit (im asking under the sense that both cars are free by the way)

or something with 4 wheel drive and room for bikes/skis/etc that can tow a boat... you get the picture.

^Because the title of the thread is "Wow, officially found my new dream car." As in DREAM, like as in wishing, as in aspiring to a greater ideal. Meaning a car that is out of their range. You should have opened the thread and expected the kid to mention a car he doesn't have the ability to afford. If the thought of that thread annoys you don't open it. Stay on the "Is this 93 civic a good deal" thread and let the kid aspire to a greater machine.

And as for the car. Come on the boxster beat its ass and its not even a full-blood porshe. I'm wondering how it would fair against a cayman. Also isn't it made in America? or atleast a good amount of the parts come from there? I remember that from a past top gear where jere has the s2000 and says how much better it is compared to richard's z4.

Oh and the top pick is wrong, that was a phony made up to make the z4 coupe look like the ungodly ugly z3 coupe

A car which always reminded me of goofy's head

who says anything about me being annoyed with the thread?

and way to repeat exactly what pubenemyskier23 said..

anyways you two are just repeating my question, I know that its his DREAM car. maybe I didnt make my statement clear enough, but what I meant from my question was why would anyone want a car they know they'll never ever have?

whats the point in that?

What emo song gave you brain damage, if you want to be content with nothing go for it. Though a persons income increases dramatically from the age of 20 to 50, meaning in time the kid will probably be able to buy a few of whatever underpowered, poorly designed convertible convert to a coupe bmw has at the time. Better yet, if he is nostalgic for the past in thirty years he can go out and get a z4 as a classic. So don't say never, people who dream, and follow their dreams, get their desires.

By the way I wasn't repeating what the other person said, i was commenting on the car and by the time i hit reply the next person had commented, kind of a tricky thing about ns, but i suppose trickier to understand

Dream car.... fuck you faggot... you have NO class at all...... Ever hear of a Mercedez-B AMG 65.... nigga, now thats a car......

For someone with class you misspelled mercedes. But all good, i'll go with an am dbs from the new casino royale

fuck benzes. only german cars i wouldnt drive. they suck so much ass. not a huge bimmer fan either. exception being m3s and now these. and they are sick ass cars. i wouldnt mind a used one in a few years, itd be fairly affordable. itd be pretty much track and occasional street only. not a daily driver

sorry, 99 percent of american cars dont do much for me. they are sweet, but not my style. im all about german cars. only jap car i would buy is mazda, maybe an evo or sti. but if i wanted all wheel drive, id prolly go for a audi S4 or mazdaspeed 6 or something.

I'm sorry, but the new BMW's are complete ass. The new body shape is the worst. Those cars are rediculously wide and huge for absolutely no reason. And its even worse when you get in one. Sure, its got all the doo-dahs and gadgets inside, but its actually sort of cramped. The dashboard is huge, for no reason at all. Theres no room to move about or anything in there, and all the seats feel oversized or something. There doesnt need to be that much "car" in a BMW. I definently like the older ones better.

The M series is a little better, as they've shed the weight and knick-knacks so the car can actually drive like its supposed to.

Now about Mercedes. I used to hate them. I really did. They looked like poop, were expensive to buy, and were even more expensive to maintain. Most mercedes saw the inside of a mechanics shop instead of the owners garage. But Mercedes has listened to the market, and slowly have come around. Now their customer service is the best in the biz, and they have great cars that actually look pretty good. Their relationship the their special tuning division, AMG, has also made me take a second look as well. AMG models are simply works of art, taking an already fabulous luxury car and somehow making it better. Take a look at the Mercedes G55, and then see what AMG did to it. Astounding!

You really have to give Mercedes credit, they really have turned their image around and are now making great cars. I would take a CLK over an M almost any day.

you guys are fools. that car is dirty looking. second, i will definatly be able to afford something like this within a few years. maybe not new, but a car of that caliber for sure. third, whatever route i go, it wont be stock like i said, i want a track/street car. so forget who beat who (the m4 smoked the porsche by the way, the z4 blows tho), cause it wont matter.

i love the older m coupe and m roadster from like 1999-2002 i think when they stopped making them they r quick

Honestly, I cant see the beauty in the car. The back end just looks to rediculous, and I'm not into bubble butts. But hey, I guess some people like 'em.

And also, why would you mod out a older car when you could buy a nicer one that will have more power, less miles and be in better condition? If you really want a track car, go buy a Lotus Elise, then you'll be 80% there. Modding can only do so much, and its incredibly cost-inneffective.

Sorry, u just lost me when u said u'd MAYBE take an STI. STI's are the shit(in a good way). Plus, everyone knows u couldnt get a brand new one cuz the new design looks like shit(in a bad way). U'd have to get one thats a year or two old and that means it'd be a lot more affordable. And it'd be the shit.

Here's a real car-.6 seconds faster than a Ferrari Enzo in the quarter mile, effectively making it the fastest production car ever.

NISMOSkylineR34GT-RZ-tune0350.jpg

Eh? Eh?

Maybe, but I was never really too much of a fan. First, its dead. Second, it was reputably a difficult thing to handle. Third, its definently a sleeper-type of fast car. It looks like any four door sedan to the untrained eye. While I do like sleeper-kinds of cars, this one was shouldnt have been made to look so. It has an outrageous powerhouse, and the car never seemed to reflect to me that power under the hood.

Also, purely speaking, while it may have an Enzo beat on 1/4 mile, its far from the fastest production car ever made. The the Enzo would be faster in a to 60, and its top speed is destroyed by any modern day supercar, which are production cars. Quartermile times dont really count for much, but it still is impressive that this car still holds that record (though I doubt with the new Koenigsegg CCX that it will for long).
