because that video is already outdated. It says Im 15, it says I filmed part-time for PBP (which isnt true, its fee-lance, when I made it I didn't know the difference.), and it says my only sponsors are obermeyer and tramdock.

This is a great example of NS. Some brings up a video the creator never wanted NS to see, and then the haters start bashing it. And hating on landis is just pathetic. when you start hating on people like him that means you have no times on your hands.
 
You probably won't accomplish half of that in your life time and he did it by 15. So get off his back, if you don't have anything nice to say stfu and get off the forums.

Excuse me, but you are in no postion whatsoever to be making fun of anyone. You havent even been here for one year, have no thread, pictures, or videos. Basically, all you contribute to the site is hate. Its nice that people like you "dont check regularly."

So what, Landis is better than you. So what if he has a good promo? So what is he is checking a thread made about him? Making fun of him and putting him down only shows all of us your insecurities. Yes, I have taken 2 years of psycology- I have a good idea as to why some people do what they do.

Did you know that people who constantly make fun of others, are actually just projecting the traits of themselves that they dislike?

Editing was so sick. the shot of the zero spin off a rock early in the video honestly resembled film so much to me. skiing was good too

and you're right i'll probably never accomplish half as much as this kid within the ski industry..

and.. i wasn't saying only negative things i might add.. im stooked that there are some kids out there that aren't only impressed by spinning onto rails and doing "urbans." there are definately a few backcountry shots that are pretty sick..

And I need to give up on trying to explain myself to people with negative attitudes. I need to get used to the fact that people will love or hate no matter what.

good format and feel but i feel like theres no wow factor. theres good shots but if you only spend time in the bc i would expect more stuff. your zeros and 180s are nice tho. I really dont wanna sound like a dick but it just seems like sponsors wouldnt be amazed at it. Itll probably get you on an AM team for a small company like surface tho. good luck and sorry if this came out in a dickhead way.

ya newschoolers is whack, landis is a great skier, there is no specific formula for what companies look for in a skier, if i had to narrow it down to a few words it would be: skilled, stylie, easy to work with, nice and honest
 
I loved it because cinematography was thought of while filming and editing. Very smooth stuff, esspecially towards the end!
 
I liked the whole feel of the video, it gave a good sense of what your about not just look what I can do. You have sick style too which you can't really teach, overall an amazing vid
 
that video kicked ass.i would consider looking into surface now just because you're sporancedhXc by them. landis should be one of the ns gods up with harvey and the rest.
 
i dont know how much i like claiming the spinning direction.

i know i dont like claiming first hits.

but i also like landis tanaka's skiing so it evens out
 
the overall impression made by someone as young as 15 is amazing. he doesnt come of as super cocky like a lot of skilled young guns. its a sick promo
 
exactly. Usually i think trying so hard to get sponsored is lame but in his position i support it because the kid lives in alaska and needs some help getting out of there to where he can do more with skiing.

So yeah, sponsor whoring isnt for everyone but go landis! Get a travel budget and come to whistler. That and just because you can do more tricks than him doesnt make you more worthy of sponsors, landis has alot to offer to anyone he rides for especially with his filming experience.
 
All I can say is wow. I have never seen such a good promo. Yes the skiing is not the best but the ideas and what he has to bring just to the sport of skiing is unmatched by many of the people on newschoolers. And I also can't wait to see more from Sloth.
 
i can't believe only one ohter person thought that sucked. that eskimo certainly knows how to talk himself up, seeing as he did significantly more talking than skiing. plus the namedrop was pretty funny to: "i film for poor boyz..." yea sweet. i think that kid just dug himself a hole and is gonna have to become alot better to get out of it.
