tried his new dub cork mctwist 12, and basically went face first into when the deck hist the top of the pipe
 
he tried his double mctwist thing and when he came down he smacked his face of of the coping of the pipe so hard his helmet flew off

yeah i hate him too, throughout the whole x games program like every fifteen minuits they would say "and shaun white coming up soon, lets see what he is gunna do today"
 
I agree, that's almost EXACTLY how Pearce did it. Shaun is super lucky he didn't end up in a coma as well.
 
yea i saw this on tv and i felt bad for him. he is going to be lacking self confidence now and i don't think he's going to get the gold.
 
He got extremely lucky. A few more inches and we would have saw his head pop off like his helmet. My mom, whose a nurse saw his slam this morning, said he prob messed his jaw/teeth up more than anything because the cherry bruise was on his cheek not near his jawbone. I dont think anyone could walk away from a crash like that and be 100% unless your chuck norris.
 
Because hes an arrogant pos. I would have loved to see him lose because of that. The X games are pretty much just so they can sell his name a little bit more. Every time there was a break for adds you would see something about sean white. Yeah hes a great rider, but hes also a little sell out bitch
 
I lol'd when i saw this, at this point I already knew he was okay and the helmet flying off is insane. But for real snowboard superpipe was horse shit.
 
they talk about him so much because everyone in the world knows who he is and it gets peoples attention. if they would say "see tom wallisch in slopestyle in 20 minutes" then it would get our attention but everyone else in the world would have know idea who that is...
 
Horse shit? Really? 23 foot airs, lots of riders doing multiple doubles (and not just all the same double flip like 99% of the skier doubles, but actual spinning cork doubles). Pretty fucking badass if you ask me. Shaun is fucking ridiculously good, all of the haters are just jealous little bitches. Plus Kazu is a style machine. If you can't have any appreciation for that shit, that's a shame.
