yesterday. i was there, right at the biggining of the pipe were tanner dumont and hibbert were droping in from. i thought hibbert was going to be dead, all the skipatrol dudes were running up to him and right before they got there he just poped up and skied away it was edfinatly awsome

hibbert isnt just a 'faller' like level 1's movie would make people believe. theres a long story behind that, but i wont get into it. but i have ALOT of footage of hibbert, and its all really good stuff, no falls (well no eat shit falls). So saying 'youve lost respect' for him or asking 'why is he a pro skier' isnt cool at all. Hes definately on the top of his game. Hell Dumont and CR decked from those heights before, nobody was saying they werent good. I give Scott a hell of alot of credit for going that high, good for him

pipe is such a precise part of skiing, pop alittle wrong and your on the deck, im glad hibbert is ok, because it looked horrible

 
Well, Scott does push himself pretty damn hard, and for people to expect him not to chrash hardcore style from time to time, or more often than that, do you actually really ski?

I was working the event, as that is what I do, and I can easily say it was the very largest air of the day.. he was NOT flailing, he was totally composed until he was directly above the denziens of scrambling people (who must have looked like ants from that height)....

The only crash that day that beat Hibberts was James Hillier going from nearly 20 to flat bottom at the end of one of the best whole runs of the day. Both of these should have led to hospital visits.. These guys deserve all the respect in the world.
