Dude, Loveland looks so sick for opening day!! Anyone going tomorrow?

A-Basin opened I think on the 10th. Loveland's website says it is opening tomorrow, the 16th.
 
haha i truely think it would be impossible to make more threads about colorado ski resorts for all of ns over a period of a year than you do in a single day.   i love the stoke though ha.
 
they say violent video games are to blame for turning so many american teenagers into gun-wielding psychopaths, but as i write this i'm sitting in washington, DC...and these pictures reaaaaaaaally make me want to hurt somebody

at least ill be out there in a couple months, maybe i wont snap after all
 
Damn, I hope Abasin is the same way, cuz im thinking of heading up there this weekend.

I am holding out though, we got a foot of snow in breckenridge 2 nights ago, so we set up our 25 foot flat bar, and hit that for like 2 hours
 
I have an idea. Everyone should send an email to Loveland (

loveland@skiloveland.com ) telling them they will go to loveland instead of abasin this weekend if they open a jump. and add something about how much attention they will get if they have a jump. ie freeskier, newschoolers, powdermag.com, tgr, news, word of mouth.

i know it will take alot of snowmaking for them to open a jump, but they could do it by the weekend if they worked on it, especially with the natural snowfall they got.

even if you don't plan on going to Loveland this would benefit everybody. even if you have an abasin pass, because then abasin would feel pressure to get more stuff up to compete with Loveland and vice versa
 
I like that Idea. A small table would be pretty sweet.

No school for me friday so I'll be up friday and saturday, maybe sunday. Fuck yes!!
 
yeah like just a 20 footer would make me so happy. ive been hitting the two rails at abasin for like 6 days straight.
 
well i havent skiied for about 6 months and would love to see snow, and i wont get tio ski till early december. so dont complain
 
damn that looks sick. I was pumped cuz the rink opened today and we can now get snow. It will be another month or two befor i see shit like that.
