Wow 4Frnt... not a good idea

So I was looking at the 09 gear review cause I was bored and I saw that now the Deadbolt bindings are getting made by Tyrolia. I think this is pretty bad and will ruin the currently, good reputation of 4frnt bindings.

are you fucking serious

vist sucks compared to tyrolia...tyrolia makes the mojo series bindings...sick as fuck.

YER WRONG

Tyrolia's lower end models (LD12, Mojo 11, etc) arent very good, but thier higher end models and race bindings (Mojo 15, Freflex 14, Mojo 20) are sick. I would much rather ride a Tyrolia binding than a Vist, mostly because I trust Tyrolia more, and no where near me can mount Vist.

the 2 bindings on the left are the mojo 15/20 design, one of them being the 15 and the other the 20 most likely. id ride those anyday over vist's.

Ok, first of all dont talk shit on a company that you havent ridden there bindigns. the new deadbolts are totaly different bindings next year. there lighter and they dont have a pivot heel like the mojo series right now. how bout you ride them, and if u still dont like them, then dis a company.

are they seriously getting rid of the pivoting heel?

that was like the best part about tyrolias.

would you really rather have a pivot heel then a standard one?? i have some 816s right now that i hate... on my 3rd pair in about 4 months (toe pieces keep exploding).... now ive never ridden a mojo biding but im super stoked for next years 4frnts as i think they will dominate over these piece of crap vists

i love the fact that fucking ATOMIC who makes a bunch of their own bindings, cant design their own freeride binding, and instead are using the salomon design for the ffg series.

be that as it may... im kinda glad the new deadbolts are make by tyrolia, the mojo 15s are kinda sexy

the only company that makes there own skis nowadays is moment, and judging by the shotty quality ive seen in all of there pairs, it shows. pretty much every ski company makes there skis in different factories, because when you buy in bulk, its cheaper for the consumer. 4frnt, ninthward, some dynastars, and tons of others are made in the Elan factory. Look at Armada, they get there skis made my atomic. As for bindings, there is no other price. the price that head is going to market the bindings is the same price that 4frnt is gunna sell them for. Its good publicity for both companies. why not have someones bindings with your name on it? It makes all of the riders know what good quality and lets them give even feed back about whwat they are riding. Mainly, its easier to just sell bindings with your name on them, rather than spend countless days, months, years, etc. designing a new freestyle only binding. why not just sell an awesome freestyle binding directly through freestyle/all mountain based companies. More bindigns are produced, which makes them cheaper for the consumer. my only argument is look at Look, rossignol, roxy, and dynastar. same bindings, different name. well i think that sums up my rant. discuss

i dont know man, im pretty sure theres more companies that make their own stuff. like fischer, i thought i saw a vid of the fischer factory and that was all they had there.

uhh yeah

i love my fks and the old pivot bindings.

and ive had a run or 2 with the mojo 15s that have a pivoting heel and i thought they felt pretty solid.

im scared of locked in heels

because in this day in age the price an item sells at to the consumer is ussually hundreds of percent high than the actual production cost. for example: a book that costs the consumer $20 is produced for under $5.

Therefore, Tyrolia can sell them to 4frnt at a lower price, allowing 4frnt to still sell them at the same retail as the mojo 15, and both companies can still make a profit, although not as large.

Anything but OG Look ZRS are way sketchy, especially tryolia. I've almost died and seen people get ruined because of pre-release or just stepping out of those bindings. I'm honestly suprised neandertholic companies like tryolia and marker are still around. To each his own I guess...

Start hoarding...the execs want it streamlined to make them as much money as possible, so we may not see those heels for a while, if ever.

It'd be nice if another company (cough:K2:cough) would buy the rights and make them again, they did it with the Flexon boots...

here the deal the 4frnt deadbolts are going to be the same as tyrolia's new race binding called The Peak, they are really solid bindings, the white binding is a 15 din, the 18 din is the yellow the black is a 12 din. the 15 and 18 do not have diagonal release and the 12 does. also for pricing 4frnt's bindings will be about 20 bucks more than the tyrolias will be since they r co-branded, as for putting your name on another companies stuff, thats just how it is in pretty much every action sports industry, theres a few factories that make skis and bindings and then everyone else just gets theres made there, overall its just gonna be a sick binding straight up

long wait man...

i love those bindings, i have 3 pairs but as they break ive been switching over to the Mojo bindings, there sick and kidna light

Tyrolia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> VIST

Vist makes decent binders, but Tyrolia makes the Mojos... which are impressssive.

how legit was it? Cause i would love to believe that rumor but no one likes false hope.........
