Would you trust getboards

^I live in Big Bear and if you go in person their shop is actually pretty cool and they are pretty chill people, including the owner... I know I've said this before, but he hooked me up with some THA 187s for $399 and allowed me to set up a payment plan to pay them off... I haven't heard of any other local shop doing that for its customers.

Just get the boards and the boots, and I'll follow up with them to make sure you get your stuff.
 
i ordered my line shadows from them and they sent me 2 pairs, and i got charged for both of them of course... they screw up time after time
 
i have bought something from them every year for last 5 years and have never had a problem. That being said lots of people have had problems. its kinda hit or miss but i say go for it.
 
nooo i ordered a bag and a waxing iron from there in october.. they didn't ship them until next june....and if your gonna say it was the mail system or some shit, your wrong i called twice a month and customer service lady kept saying we'll ship them soon, and thats it before she'd hang up on me

i say they should be safe if you order by phone. all of my phone orders have gone smoothly with no complaints. the one time i tried ordering online they charged my credit card 2 days later and i waited 3 weeks and nothing came, so i emailed them and they told me my stuff was on back order. i cancelled the order and it took 2 months of emails and phone calls to get the money credited back to my account.
 
theyre alright...not the best...i ordered a pair of siver pants and a beanie and they sent the order with out the beanie and charged me for it....so i had to call up and bitch
 
last year i was ordered my stuka2 jacket so that i would have it for when it gets really cold here and i made sure to order well in advance becasue i had read alot of complaints from getboards. well it took like 2 months for the jacket to come in and by then it was nearly spring and i ended up wearing lots of sweat shirts at -20 and colder, it sucked i am never buy from getboards again.
 
i ordered some stuff there and they shorted me, just order from josh at jibij, he has everything they do. also call up colorado freeskier. jessie and gabe are realy nice guys and they will get you hooked up quick!
 
Nope. Wouldn't do it. I don't personally have anything against them, but their BBB rating was F for a long time.. and might still be.

getboards is a hit or miss like a lot of people said i ordered a pair of skis and they sent me the wrong size and it also took like 2 weeks to get them
 
i love ordering from them. last year i order rossi scratches form them 04-05 and they had a mix up so they gave my the new ones 05-06 for the same price. i just order some shirts and a siver cartel jacket fromt hem on wednesday and i hope it works well like when i ordered my skis. i like them but i have heard bad stuff about them too. but w/e do what u want
 
you could order from them and have a slight chance of it working out well, or you could order from Jibij like a few people have said, and have it be 100% a-ok!
 
last year i ordered wisdoms khaki ones with permisson lens....they were on sale for 40 bucks....well when i got my package a got grey and black wisdoms with black iridium lense. They ended up upgrading for me bcause theyd sold the rest. This year i ordered a hat n they sent me the wrong one so i told them and they sent me the right one and i got to keep the other one they sent me.......id go with proctor...they make mistakes but they fix it all for the better!
