Would you still compete?

Last year I had a bad injury from which I think I'm still recovering from, especially mentally.

I've been doing a lot of awesome back country this year, but nothing that's really pushed my abilities.

I still have a lot of reserves with my leg and my ability to charge and

drop cliffs in any condition. And most often comp conditions are rarely

favorable.

I'm registered for the Salomon Extreme Championships in Taos in a month, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

All said, it's going to cost about $300 for the weekend, and if I don't do well is it really going to be worth it?

i think it all depends on the previous injury ya know? but if its more of a mental thing then physical, only you can figure that one out. just get in the mind set and go for it!

It doesnt sound like youre up to it, you want to be in the best mental state especially at a big mountain event. If youre doubting yourself dont bother, take the time to improve.
