Would You do It, and how long would you go for?

Hey peeps, so my uncles offering me a condo in Reno for february, i was wondering how far the drive from Reno is to either mammoth or any of the other main mountains, and would you truck ur ass across the country to get there?

The commute to mammoth is a little far, might want to try looking at tahoe

um, yes. Not mammoth though, I think alpine/boreal are going to be your best bet.....or little mt. rose.

yeah from reno the tahoe ski resorts are like 45 min away depending on the road conditions and where you are in reno. mammoth is 3 hours from reno...so thats out of the question.

n* is probably the closest, but its still a ways and not to much longer to alpine, squaw, sugarbowl and boreal.

so northstar, meadows, squaw, and boreal are all about 45 minutes from reno? are there shuttles that run outa the city?
