Would u try chad's gap

If Tanner can break his ankles on it, so can I.

I dont want to be yelling AHH FUCK! BROKEN! MY ANKLES ARE BROKEN! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

So? Speed check before you hit it so when you do hit, you break all your ribs and collapse both lungs so you can't yell that.

Are you people forgetting that its a GAP? Its not a table, so if you come up short, your going into a wall, not just to flat ground, also the landing is short a narrow. Also landing in powder is about 10 times harder than park.

as if it wasnt hard enough to build it, hike it (the right abmount) go 60 mph, clear it, stay stable in the air( not accidentally rolling inverted)... just imagine the landing going that fast in the air and then touching pow, your skis would sink into the snow and your body would jsut be thrashed around.

if someone would have a radar to see if the speed is good to clear or not, to try it without a radar is insanne

If Chuck Norris was there, i would do it just for him to notice me. dunno if he would talk to me if i did it, but at least i know his eyes touched me!

I wish I was in the usa right now b/c i would be there for sure. I would love to give it a go...I am sure I would do the in run like 10 times before getting the balls to go off. But I would do it for sure.

how big is chad's? my hill had this posted today

www.missionridge.com

Largest hip in the NW - 80ft! 30ft wedge, 2 15ft tabletops, 20ft flat box, c-box, shot gun rail, upflatdown box, another hip and 25ft tabletop and "in process" with more pumper bumps and rails to come.

i call bull shit typo 80ft. hip

at the moment, definitely not.

maybe, MAYBE if i do back to back seasons for the next 5-10 years, work my way up, get really skilled in jump building, bc awareness ski prep etc and have heaps of practice on big jumps and on the day there is the most perfectly built jump & inrun, 5 ft of pow, perfect sunshine, no wind and a big crew including a bunch of first aid pros then i might think about hitting it.

otherwise, no

oh & this is a serious question: if you cleared the jump but then tomohawked the landing, would you get very fucked up or just a bit beaten around, providing you didnt wrench your legs in some weird-arse direction?

i met a guy that did pyramid, chad's, and some other gap that's in between the two... he told me the run in for chad's is weird, like u havta go around a tree and the compression right before the jump is crazy because of how fast u havta go. made me think about it for a while... i would definitely do pyramid first, then chad's.

chads is pussie only faggots hit chads...there is a sercret gap in BC tahoe that shits on chads.........i back 5'd it tha other day with some homies..next snowfall im going to try switch front 7 it but mabye not......

i saw a video of baorders trying it and they all came up short and hit the front of the landing, and it didn't seem to hhurt them too badly, so i think if your just straight airing it, and keep your composure in the air, even if you come up short, you can live, and be fine, like those boarders did. They came up short like 6 times.

but like i said before, leave famous pro gaps to the good skiers, so if your not one of the better skiers in teh world, don't try it

there is no way in hell. seriously almost all of you are all talk. like the snowbird4life kid is saying, he will give u everything u need except for the plane ticket, so if you are serious about it, which i know prolbably like 99% of you are not, get your ticket to salt lake and go hit chads gap

i feel like the only way i would do it is if someone i knew did it first, then id feel like i had to. but seeing just anyone wouldnt inspire me enough, cuz pros do it like its nothing.
