Would schizo's ruin the flex of the ep pro

i am thinking about picking up a pair of ep pros and throwing on the marker schizo, but am wondering if doing that would ruin the flex of the ski. i think it would be cool to change the mounting point, but would just regular jesters be that much better?

you can mount the schizo normally like any other binding, so no they would not need inserts in the ski. it is similar to the duke, it is just a plate and then everything moves on that plate, but i am just not sure if that would create a huge dead spot in the flex of the ski.

thanks for the info, now alittle for you, i have EP's mounted with naxo 21's same sort of deal no flex between the heal and the toe. it didn't cause a problem, on a ski like the ep though i wouldn't do it the adjustability isn't really needed because its more of a quiver ski, IMHO. i would want the schizo on something like the blend or the chronic something that has multi-purposes so you can max out the ski.

alright, cool, thanks for the help. do you think that the jester would be a better option. i was just thinking it would be cool to be able to adjust the mounting point on them so i could put them dead center to try some switch landings and switch pow stuff and then move them back to regular mount to just rip around.

just mount them on the line with anything decent, landing and skiing switch in pow is perfect on the line, thats all i use them for

yea, i second that^^. Just think, pollard designed those skis, and he rips everything way harder than you ever will (no offense). where he recommends them to be mounted is prolly the best place for um. rockered skis really dont need to be setback like traditional skis. save the $$ and go with jesters or FKSs.
