Worst things ever: (post)

Big Bummer - not worst thing ever.
Doing so a week before your Crested Butte honeymoon - now we are getting some where.
Out living your children is probably tops of the list. Hasn't happened to me or anyone I know, but in general that would be so hard to deal with.
Don't get me wrong - I am a skier through and through - but life beyond skiing can be as wonderful and horrific as it is in the microcosm of a young skiers reality.

getting a season ending injury on the first day of the season.... 10 years in a row!

(no that didn't happen to me but would have to up on list for worst thing ever. id say almost as bad as getting attacked by a bear)

overshooting a jump by alot, the moment you're about to hit maximum height and know that you're gonna fuck up ...

Snapping your ski last run and not noticing, then getting to the mountain the following day and noticing you cant ski today!

Yard sale off a cliff and cant control your slide. Happened to me yesterday, hit 3 trees dislocated shoulder and bruised all over. Had to hike for 30 minutes to get all my gear with a shoulder out of place. That was the worst thing ever for me ski wise.

Edges ripping out, brakes breaking, bindings warping, clothing ripping, concussions, skiers thumb, asshole kids who yell shit at you for no reason, kids cutting you off, people running over you skis, catching edges on rails, random bloody noses on the chairlift, forgetting your seasons pass, ice everywhere, super flat light, sticky rails, overshooting, knuckling, accidental cork spins, and any serious injury.

Missing out on a powder day because your car wont make it up the mountain and having a basketball game the next day. FUUU

Shitstains everywhere

* Setting rotation for a 10, hearing a click just when you pop and noticing in the air that one foot is significantly lighter than the other one.

* Over shooting huge and adding insult to injury by one hop bouncing into a blue spruce.

* Landing way back on a simple 3, and cracking your tail bone on your heal piece. Having to sit in uncomfortable high school desk with said problem.

* Breaking your leg riding dirt bikes one week before you are supposed to go to Hood for camp.

Take your pick.

cracking your tailbone on the other side of the mountain having to take 3 lifts to get back to your car and sitting in your car in pain for 6 hours while your friends ski.

worst day ever

beat me to it

my brakes dont go down so nearly every time i fall my skis slide down the hill. it sucks especially when you get hurt and cant hop right back up to ski down to them

Falling on rails and boxes so many times on a trip, that you have to put a cloth in your pocket for hip protection, and you can't sleep on that side. brakes also suck
