Worst Ski Setup

post your ski setup.

mine last year, which was the most recently used skis for me were:

(i'm 5'10")

5'10 145 lbs. and when conditions were icy as shit I skied a 165 RX8, and on ice, it holds an edge like none other, and is faster than probably any ski but a race ski.
 
this year i was 5`6 with 161 and i found my skis extremlt small im going for the 175cm this year
 
Oh they are absolutely sick on icy and groomed. As far as Fischer, I've never had a problem with their stuff and they are pretty race bred so these skis are basically race skis, and even though I don't ski them much anymore cause I'm mostly on my fujas, when I feel the need to just go ridiculously fast on some ice or whatever it gets the job done, they hold an edge like none other.
 
My worst ski setup was my first ever, (only last year, come a long way haha) 141 Dynastar Troublemaker Jrs, Look nova 10s, and some rear entry raichle boots from like the 80's I got for $1.50
 
my first setup when i got back into skiing (hyperthyroid disease took me out for a few years) was a set of fischer airstyle nt's with c610 salomons. i dread even thinking about how poor this setup was.
 
I wish the blends came in longer sizes, i dunno about 179 when I'm 6'2". Oh well. But my worst set-up was $99 bargain boots and used marker bindings that the brake pin would come out and the brakes wouldn't deploy. This was while I was learning to ski. I also learned how to run really fast w? ski boots.
