Worst ski movie?

Hey ladies and germs. For the sole purpose of shits and giggles, I’m looking for the worst ski movie you’ve ever watched. Not looking for some joey’s 3 minute ski edit that he put together with a $20 camera, but like an actual feature film that took thousands of dollars and hours to make, but in the end looked like garbage. Whether it’s really lame skiing, really lame skiers, or really lame editing, I don’t care. I just wanna here what you peeps think was the most painful ski film to watch.

Just google any Warren Miller movie after 2000. And take your pick. Pure garbage. Year after year.

i feel so bad that warren miller has all of those unwatchable movies tied to his name. watching the classic films that he actually had a hand in really makes you realize how much WME regressed.

Do they still buy b-roll footy from production companies like they used to back in the day? You used to see shots from like PBP, Rage Films, etc in their "park shoot" segments lol

Isn’t that bad to be considered on the “all time list” but some of PBP’s later stuff was pretty cringe imo. “We: A collection of Individuals” comes to mind.... the terrible interviews trying to tie together a pretty lame overall ‘plot’. It’s funny that they named it that way because the crews on PBP were so spread out across the board that it’s likely none of them ever really skied together through out the season

Ruin and Rose by MSP. Watch it and I promise you'll agree

Ruin and Rose

I have to agree, Ruin and Rose is literally the worst ski movie I have ever watched. Minimal skiing, a confusing storyline, terrible acting, and so much god damn sand. Like its a skiing movie, why the fuck is it about the desert. When it came out, I was like "Oh cool, another MSP film, let me buy it." Probably the best way to waste $16 and 2 hours of my time. Also, the fact that the main sponsor was Under Armor says a lot. The Big Empty, more like a big piece of shit.

PBP really fell off after the Grand Bizarre (still one of my favorite ski movies)... WE, Tracing Skylines... Not even sure how they went to shit so hard.

Sherpas Cinema: Into the Mind

Honestly this flick just felt like Sherpas Cinema flexing HARD with their fancy camera equipment. No disrespect to them or anything like that, They do other tremendous work but the riding in that movie was pretty bad minus Kye Peterson ripping it

Yeah, that movie kinda sucked except for the scene with the indian burning sage for 3 minutes. I'm glad that was included in a ski movie.

20/20 hindsight, but all.i.can was so goddamn good at the time it probably made into the mind seem like an even bigger letdown than was probably fair.

never bothered to watch another sherpas movie afterward - they release anything else worth seeing?

all.i.can was pretty dope actually. They do a bunch of filming for other projects, like all sorts of stuff judging from their social media posts. Commercials and other things. Kinda like how STEPT is now i guess but also still dabbles in skiing
