Years ago I used to own a virtika jacket and pants which in hindsight was an embarassing mistake for obvious reasons. The jacket actually kept me super warm and the pants were pretty decent. However, virtika is still super wack to me

I remember a while back technical ski jeans were a thing. It was cool at first as a novelty but it still makes you look like a Texas Jerry even if your warm.

I made the mistake of buying virtika pants last November, I don’t really mind them for the most part, but I do feel extremely stupid sometimes wearing them. They’re mad warm and I haven’t had any durability problems with them yet, but just very ugly to me on the back side.

I remember when People shat on kids starting clothing companies by printing designs onto cheap T-shirt and Hoodie blanks to sell online and that’s literally what Jib does now. Dude the old Jiberish was actually designing clothing- I miss the outerwear, the pants, the button downs, hell even the scarves.
Like straight up Jiberish has become the Warren Miller entertainment of skiing, just a shell of its former self, the original creator long gone, taking the brand in an entirely new direction (into the ground). It just sucks to watch what used to be one of the sickest brands in skiing reduced to this cheap, low effort, Instagram “fashion” brand.
