Worst Ski Ads Ever

There are a lot more, but two come to mind as of now: 1) the fucking Cabarasset (however the fuck you spell it, I don't give a shit) Academy ads are so fucking lame...they are photo shopped to all shit, they don't even look real. There are a couple of them, but the one I just saw is some guy doing a mute grab like thirty years out of the pipe and its funny because you can tell in actuallity he was like three feet out, because the guy in the background is looking at where the skier should be.

2) This one is the worst by far. The DaKine ad of Micah Black doing a switch 180 off cornice has to be the gayest thing I have ever seen...its not big, he does it sloppy, doesn't eve grab a simple trick like that. It fucking pisses my off that anyone could even consider running that shit, its srtaight retarded.

I am not dissing the atheletes nor the photographers, but mainly the people in charge of running advertising...what the hell are you thinking? Especially DaKine who has a photostock deeper than a pile of TRex's shit and with talent like Micah, there had to be hoards of better shots, I mean c'mon guys. As for the Caba12345shitaset Academy ads...whatever, you're not fooling anyone.

the worst snow sport add ever is the sims snowboards campaign! those fucking bastards starte the whole hatred between skiiers and snowboarders. those fucking bastards need to rot in hell for the war that they have created. theres a whole article about it in the back of the december issue of FREEZE i believe, and i think that every one should read it

 
there have been some really bad adds! a lot of mountain adds just suck..let me get a freeze and look through it

ok, so there's this ad in freeze and powder too i think, it's a subaru wrx ad. which would be very kick ass, but it's got a lone snowboarder. come one, it's in a ski mag. we want skiers. and skier chicks.

Definately not the worst but the new spy ad with Evan Raps in it is pretty bad... they photoshopped that green c-rail (from Happy Dayz) and made it orange to fit their colour scheme. What's worse is that they didn't do that good a job either. I just hate stupidity like that.

THE WORST AD ever is the atomic one where it has the page split into 4 sections and in the middle going vertically it has the word ATOMIC in real gay orange and yellow lettering and then across horizontially it has a big yellow and orange wavey line.... and the pics arent even good

We need to stop taking this crap from the snowboarders how if it wasn't for them then skiing would've died.

As much as I don't like fruitbooting, alot of our moves and grabs are from them.

And I gotta go with the auclair ad with the naked man as being the worst one.

yeah, atomic has the worst ads as far as ski manufacturers go, and dynastar's suck too. they arent any different than the stuff u would see in ski magazine.

 
the old nike ad where the guy is standing the the parking lot and it says 'ricks gonna throw a crazy rodeo 7 in the park, but before he has to land a foot to sock to pant leg to boot'. its real gay. and nike sucks.

also the ads on the 1st page of old freeskier mags from last year for chevy or something and its a racing add in a FREESKIER magazine. not the nicest thing to open up to.

Just wanted to let publicenemy10 know that sims aren't dissing on skiers. When they say support the original yada yada they mean don't buy snowboards from a ski company i.e Salomon and rossignol. They are saying support companies that began snowboarding and were the fore fathers of the sport.

sims is the shit cause they had GWAR at their booth in vegas autographing pictures of naked chicks.

The worst ad awards go to marker this year with their extra blury shots of plake and absolute zero thought about doing somthing creative graphicly to make up for the shitty photos. the runners up are the rest of the ski industry.

good ads this year include scott goggles, Mammoth mountain, and like always even though they arent in ski mags, volcom.

 
someone was talking about the nissan adds with the snowboarder and all, but if you look into it at all, i think there was a nissan add a year back that had Kritler and Black (?) doing some tricks over a road gap with the x-terra under them. It was a great commercial, but didnt get enough coverage.
