Worst Segment of a Ski Movie for 06

dude compared to her seg in yearbook, i just thought she basically lost ground in her progression. Like when she straight-lined that shit in yearbook, major props, but the biggest thing i saw her do in hit list was drop maybe a 30 footer
 
the most dissappointing segment is CR in PYB, i dunno if its the worst, but I thought it was lame, however I thought that movie was sick as a whole.
 
rainville, booth, cr in pop yer bottlez. that shit was so lame. basically this is what i got from it:

Rainville is a bitch cos fucking girls slip him roofies.

Booth is a bitch cos he passes out and wears shirts that are 14 sizes too big.

CR is a bitch because, well, watch the part...he's fucking dancing. plus he has a sean paul song.

THall in TBC gives em a run for their money though with his talking. first of all, hes in a skatepark...if anyone saw his part in yearbook, he cant even ollie onto curbs right, so dont go for the street cred when you cant even skate. he sounds like a bitch, he acts like hes fucking jay z rapping when he talks, and he just straight up makes a fool of him self.

other than that, GNARLY AZZ VIDDEEZ N SHEEOT. War and TBC were best, minus the aforemention faggotry.

ps...please, everyone, stop calling tanner hall, a scrawny blonde haired kid from montana, a pimp.

I think that any segment that has Tanner Hall talking is the worst segment! Sorry...he does nothing for me. He's a great skier bad talker.
 
I think that kinda was the point of the whole movie.

I think Tanners bitching in TBC was stupid, so unnecessary. I was blushing with embarassment on his behalf when I saw it.

I believe daron rahlves takes the cake, skiing tame ass lines compared to his counterparts in his segment in hitlist. Plus rahlves is a piece of shit. But hey, bashing gates in big mountain terrian is cool right? That is probably the only way he knows how to get down the mountain, chasing sticks.
 
pyb for sure. they have some great riders but some of the music and editing was lame. you can't even see over half of t rain's section. little bow wow is lame, as well as cr dancing.
 
^^ so tru, but jon mcmurray is just freakin harlious cause the guy is so freakin crazy and he doesnt annoy me at all. It was very entertaing to watch his crazy lil rap video in Remix section of hit list. And the snowboarding def did NOT ruin the movie.
 
gosh that was so bad i forgot about it. like the racing i could live with barely but the pure dullness just added to the full shittiness that was hit list
 
I really dont get why everyone hates hit list....there were some pretty good sections; hugo harrison, benchetler, pep, abma, mahre, rainville....what was so bad with those sections? Oh wait, i guess I should just jump on the bandwagon, park rats suck.
 
umm guys, chris booth isnt in PYB. Its chris biollo. And I thought he wasnt nearly as bad as cr cause he didnt seem to take it too seriously
 
Anthony Boronowski in War. His song sucked ass. and he doesnt really do much more than: right and left cork three safties and 7 safties in the BC. yes he is better than i am. i probably will never be able to do them, i realize that. this is just my personal oppinion.

I totally forgot about Daron's segment in Hit List. That takes the cake, chasing gates down in the backcountry...yes, you are so cool.

personally i was dissappointed in the lack of sage in TBC.

True you can never have enough sage....but he did have a sick opening section and then some pretty good powder shots and cliffs later on in the movie.
 
I didn't read one post on Shanghai Six, that's awesome, Josh knows how to make the best videos on the planet, there is alsways flow and never a dull moment. There is always variety and a hit never gets over sessioned. I think he knows how to do flow like no other and the intro was very very well setup.

Bottom line, I hear over and over again about how much all the other ski movies had problems.

Major props to Josh, (sucks about the USPS truck "blowing up" haha). I will continue to support him and his love for production and progression.

Only gripe about S6 is that I wanted to see more than 1 minute of Marie Martinod shredding. So it could just balance out the Male/Female line up a bit.

Lastly, Dave Crichton just plain knows how to murder rails and keep bringing the gnar.

I wasn't paid to say this, it just needed to be said. The whole Level 1 crew rips harder than anyone else.

Hands Down.
 
outside of freshtival i saw him skating with some kids board and he did a three flip and a double kickflip, dont say he cant skate

Yeah well I think that besides the dancing PYB was one of my favorite movies of the year and alot of people I know older and younger think it was sick. Im not what you fagotts call a wigger either, but that is what they do and if thats who they are then other people should respect, black people arent the only ones who can express themselvs. PYB is sick.
 
If you hit the "next" button when Tanner is talking in TBC you'll notice it goes right to his skiing. How great is that? It's like making him shut up and ski. Also, I wasn't too stoked on White Shine's junk-yard jib. Other than that, I haven't really seen anything really bad yet.
 
I know I wasn't the only person who thought the TBC Tanner interview kicked all ass. Cmon now.
 
i thought it was kind of a cool idea to have him shouting on video but speaking very calmly on the pre-recorded sound. cool effect (don't know if it's been done before thought). and i thought he spoke surprisingly well. i thought it was little long(winded), but his segment was worth it. definitely wasn't my biggest gripe about tbc for sure.
 
well booter crunk was aight but the jumps just seemed really small. Quality movie, but just didn't have that "damn" factor. I really liked war, TBC and shanghai six.
