Worst Season Ever...

So this has just gone from worse, to worst. The season here in pathetic WNY started out pretty well. We got some solid 2 foot snowstorms, and everything was opening up nicely.

But then all of a sudden for the past 22 days, it has been above average temperatures, and tons of rain. All the runs are closing down, and the snow is quickly dissappearing. All we have to jib is a flat-box, a c-box and an a-frame rail. Absolutely no jumps though.

And the worst part is, there is no weather pattern change in the forecast for at least 2 more weeks at minimum. They are saying it is gonna stay 45 degrees and rain straight through.

Looks like the hill might be closing in February at this rate, and I am just so pissed. I look forward to winter for so many months so I can ski and enjoy the time out. And this shit has to go happen.

Just wanted to rant a little bit.

Who else is having a really shitty season?

We've been getting the same weather, but our park is still nice. 5 jumps from 15 to 45. C, S, 30ft, staircase rails. But it won't hold up much longer.

I just skiied fresh all day. Face shots like whoa, and I'm 6 foot 2. Fucking sick season more like. Go Whistler.

I live in the pathetic hole that is Buffalo, New York.

Our rocking 700 feet of vertical and lack of committment to park will make your head spin dizzy.

This weather though is just agonizing. And then to top it off, you hear people out west in Cali and CO and whatnot having an epic season thusfar.

we have had 2 feet in 2 days, and its still snowing at least 6 inches per night.

last year, we closed at the end of febuary, afetr it rained all of january, and i live in b.c. it sucked so bad, i fell sorry for you man.

ya dude it sux so bad fuckin hope that togg doesnt close it prolly will though and caz ski hill shit that place hasnt even opened up yet prty sure it wont

It's 50 degrees right now in Michigan with no snow and probably no more coming...pretty much the shittiest season here in a while.

Decmber was a tease and now the East Coast blows. Much of New England should get at least 3 inches late this weekend and select areas of northern New England could see 6+. In PA though it isn't looking so good for us. I will take anything at this point.

be careful man, saying shit like your original post is what puts a good season in the shitter....

be ware of what you say around here.....

they ARE listening.
