I'm going through my 2nd one and I don't really care, and no I do not hate my life. There are far more things to be concerned about. Just gotta wait 6 months and it'll all be good. But those little fuckers. Sure, they save you from blood clots. But my hell, peeling dead skin off the bottom of my feet and my whole leg is just let me tell ya, wonderful. Yes, its as disgusting as it sounds. When this is over, I'm burning mine.
 
could not agree morehad surgery this summer and had one of those god damn bastards get rolled up when I was sleepingcut off circulation to my foot and left a permanent red mark on my calf from itso frustrating
 
yeah basically a compression sleeve. you have to wear it nonstop for the first like couple weeks after the surgery. they are a bitch...you get all sweaty and squeezed like its just weird
 
I have had my knee done, and know many others who also have, and not a single one of those people had to wear these. I remember after the surgery they told me to do like ankle circles and shit, and that should prevent any sort of blood clots, and it worked for me and everyone I know whose had it done.
 
In some circumstances, especially if you are full weight bearing after a few days of course you wouldn't need them. I always ditched them after a few days.
 
dang that sucksss..

i had knee surgery 3 years ago.

but it was only for a torn meniscus. tore it in 3 spots..
