Worst mountain you ever skied

whitetail is actually decent compared to the others around here..

liberty - the runs are like 10 seconds long, the park is ok

massanutten aka mass-a-NOTHING - worst place ever

um, ski whitetail. trails are like my backyard, and the park was made by blind idiots. never been good, any time ive been there.

Didnt wolf mountain get changed into the canyons, correct me if im wrong haha im from the east. And i second the Queechee ski hill in vermont

been there every weekend since nov, with the exception of liberty and massanutten a few times. all these places are pretty bad, but out of these 3.

1. w

yeah one linft, 20 minuets to get up, 1 minuet to get down, and a park the size of a rope tow.

the half pipe has a ditch dug to aid in shaping...there legit.

its great how half the ones listed are ICECOAST.. lol nice.. worst over all.. maple ski ridge, west mtn, bosquet, jiminy peak..

Libertys park is so much better than whitetails. I havnt been to whitetail for a while but from what i hear it sucks and you get disqualified for inverted arials in comps. I would rather have a better park and 10 second runs than 11 second runs an a crappy park. Libertys runs are big compared to roundtops so im used to smaller runs and when i go to liberty I dont even leave to park.

I hope you're joking. Mine would be Mt. Ashwabay, WI (near Bayfield). About 150 vertical ft, 5-7 runs, and it has a 55+ year old T-bar and a couple ropetows. And it doesn't have a park.

Schweitzer like 6 years ago before they updated their shit with some new quads and a dec park. It was super icy the whole week and they only had one resteraunt on the mountin. But its better know from what ive seen.

hahah brilliant post....

has to be mountain high, just one hour east of downtown Los Angeles.

you can infer that
1.) the snow sucks (practically mexico)
2.) total rat fuck humanity (10 mil people in LA)
3.) too many snowboarders just there for the scene

they also have turnstyles that u need to swipe ur pass through before you can get in the lift line. oh and all the runs are cut at a wierd angle so ur left turns are 75% longer than right turns all the way down

kimberley Alpine resort BC. Even though its large and has lots of alpine, and most midwest kids would give hand to a guy wuith downsyndrome for a year here, it is run absolutley horribly, and they lie to all the locals regularly. I know nomensteven will come on here and say "you dont know what your talking about yadadada" but it is completley and utterly absurd how they feel they should operate.

bogus is like my home mountain. not home mountain, but closest mountain.

and yes, Bogus Basin sucks shit.

snoqualmie summit west....it's kind of a golf course. i did learn there though, and it seems pretty big when you're 4.

kid talkin shit on powder mountain. why the fuck would you go to a powder-famed mountain before christmas? your not that smart my friend. only time that is exceptable is if you keep a loose ass schedual and only go to a place you know is going off, which is almost impossible unless your rich.

McIntyr (sp?) N.H. I used to live in Manchester a long time ago. The place summits at like 250 feet. I live in Aspen now and I don't bother bringing my skis back east when I visit my family. Oh yeah, to the guy that said vail is not very good...I agree, vail sucks.

I can't say any hills are bad around me cause I'm thankful I don't have to drive an hour to a hill every time I want to go skiing.

misery mountain, which is in the town of Grimshaw. I mean its even called misery mountain. haha. And its in the middle of NOWHERE and unless you live in Canada or Alaska you have no idea what that means.

2 come to mind:

Jimney Peak in Massivetwoshits..... The ski patroller I road up the lift with tried to warn me that they have the steepest expert trail in the east coast. I followed him to it...and bombed that ish from top to bottom without stopping and styled daffies and twist spreads. I was 10 years old. Im sure that place still sucks balls. Tons of rich hot jewish girls stay at lodges there... so it didnt suck THAT BAD... so to top it for worst "mountain".

Hidden Valley in NJ... near Mountain Creek... growing up this was a private ski resort. Our school use to race there... it was pitiful... picture geriatrics bitching about you skiing or even running in the lodge.. and you get your ticket pulled... headphones.. tickket pulled... loud music from your freaking car as you get ready... asked to leave the property. My friend said the best thing to the rent-a-cops

"Before we leave, can you please pass the Grey Poupon?" Never went back again.

where's blue hills, mass, on here? by far shittiest mountain ever, they were only able to get 2 trails open last season...such a shit hole

Canyons was formerly wolf mountain, but Nordic Valley just north of snowbasin was changed to Wolf Mountain a year or two ago.
