Shawnee Mountain, Pa - My home mountain unfortunately. These pics were also in the middle of the season so it’s not like the end where things start falling apart it’s just because they don’t know how to maintain shit. Also the two rails next to eachother looks pleasing but one is like a foot higher than the other so... yeah

please never go there for the park

Some of these look like someone made them in their backyard with a snow shovel and some random supplies from their garage. Jfc have some pride in your job lol

Honestly I feel like half these features are actually hittable if you're a skilled and creative park skier and the other half are just straight unjibbable

I mean pretty much anything is hittable. "Oh I could prolly hit that without dying maybe" is different than "that's setup semi decent, safe and fun"

I would guess they use it as a sled to carry snow to build the take off or landings. Would make for a fun ride to take it up top of the run and drop in! Be similar to Clark in Christmas Vacation.lol
 
I feel like most of these death trap features are exclusively designed for snowboarders to "50-50" i.e. ride over.

Camelback in PA a long time ago, bottom box is whatever but the top one is straight in the ground.

Cbk was real sick back in like 09.

Instructor at my resort wants us to put in boxes like that because more than an inch off the ground is "too high to teach kids on"

Good ol camelback. Boutta 15 minute drive from me. Back in 12’ era I always loved their park but I wasn’t good enough to hit the cool shit. Went back recently and was kinda upset that they put the park on where Pharaoh used to be (black diamond windy trail on left side of mountain) and the jumps sucked and the rails were pretty decent but wasn’t really fun idk.

I tried to turn it more sideways in case it was just the picture, but even with the inrun being a cliff drop, the landing is still flat af. The side tranny is doable but even that is prolly flat, it just looks steep because the landing is graded level better than the base area parking lot.

The shitty thing is there is a ton of snow their too. If it was just pushed up a ton steeper, could have even built another jump maybe with the excess.

This shit sucks though. When that's your home mountain and wanting to ride park means you just have to send it.

Let me just say this. If its at camp fortune its gonna be sticky and really sketchy. Chelsea Quebec mans are built different but not in a good way
