Worst luck at the mountain?

One time I decided to do some donuts with my subie in the parking lot of the mountain as soon as we pulled in.. It was miint until I over revved it and blew the engine. bullshit. but luckily, the skiing couldnt of been better that day! anybody else have any stories??

First chair on a pow day and my cousins bonding broke. She was in 4th grade, so I had to ski down holding her skis while she walked. By the time we got to the bottom all of the good trails were tracked out

Today I had pretty shitty luck. I ski at 7 Springs, and we have knee high powder (an exremely rare occurence). However, my one descendant boot broke and the rental boots don't fit my FKS bindings. I'm stuck with rental boots and crappy rental skis in the middle of a powder storm. No sending layed out threes or backies on natural features for me :(.

Drove up from CO to ski Jhole for 3 days. 1st run my binding exploded in the pipe. Ended up having to buy some demo bindings for almost 80 still so I could ride, and get used to them fast while trying to crush some good terrain. Had weird pressure points and my feet would go kind of numb. Still had a blast.

Also was trying to go to jhole a month or so before. I had to work but he had off a day more than me so went up early. On the way up my car shit out in the middle of nowhere by steamboat and I spent all night in my car in a sleeping back with hand warmers. Then paid a shit ton of oney to get towed back home.

When I was like 6 or 7 we were eating dowstairs in the lodge. I slipped on the wet steps, dumped all my food, and took the ride of my life. I cried a bunch. No more lunch money, no more food, and a sad day all around.

3 years ago some sidejumping demon girl smashed into my brand new board and broke it. I was making sure she wasn't dead and then helped her get her skis on, only to realize after my board was toast.

Somebody fucked up the papers for the ski club in school and they didn't have my form. I had all my gear on, and had to get off the bus. I cried.

Idk, I think everyone that does anything enough will have some bad times. I'm sure I have at least a thousand good days at the mountain so I can't complain.

Last year I was leaving the mountain after it had snowed all day and the parking lot hadn’t been plowed. There was only one way to leave the parking lot and it was down a steep ramp which was slick af. I lost traction and slid down the ramp and crashed into a snowbank and got stuck. My bumper is still fucked up.

This doesn't seem like a luck issue, it seems like you made bad choices and aren't a good driver. Call Mort's grandma, tell her to put the cigarette down, and see if she can help warranty your Subaru.

Morts grandma will certainly help. She does need a compensation of cigs tho

One time I went into the trees to blow big doinks but realized I had forgotten a lighter. The day was certainly over until someone at the center gave me a complimentary set of matches

2nd run of the day I land switch of a rail slightly awkward, snapped the baseplate of my bindings and my ski flies all the way down into a closed run. Had to walk all the way down this closed run and get rentals for the day... Ski patrol laughed at me.

I was on a ski trip to Bretton Woods with one of my friends and i lost one of my super expensive mitts on the third out of the fourth day there. contacted them on instagram about. my message was marked as read but that was it. called them too with no actual help. your boy skied the rest of the day with one hand in his pocket.
