i broke my collarbone in 3 places last friday in the pipe, might have to have screws put in. wondering what your guys' worst injuries have been while skiing?

 
i once saw a guy with this high tecg brace surrounding his whole leg and had metal rods going through his legs...his whole leg was blue

the 2nd time i broke my ancle i tor all the ligaments in it and fractored through the growth plate, skied down a black and took off my boots and got carried to the hospital, found out i tor all the ligaments so i went through 3 days of physical therapy before they found the break.

now 4 years later that ancle is bruised as fuck and my other ancle is horribly swollen and fucked, dr.'s apt. tomorrow should be fun!

i broke 2 bones in my hand at the same time, bruised kidneys and got 8 staples in my arm.

several concusions as well.

depends what u mean by worst injury, pain whise, i think your ribs, i broke two and punctured and deflated a lung, it hurt so bad it hurt to cry, i basically tried not to breathe for a while until i could not do that anymore. For just general suckiness like cant ski for a while, ummmm acl is common and ur out for 6-9 months. But for severity any serious head neck or back trauma is no good.

fuck yo, that sucks for me it was collar bone both bones were overlapping eachother, i was out for 2-3 months. IT SUCKED!

i have never had a serious injury but i go big all the time...i think its cuz i drink a gallon of milk over three days

I broke my femur. Biggest crash of my life, I landed on my head on the flats and when I opened my eyes, my ski boot was right in front of my face pointing at it, leg lying on my chest, broken femur. 3 hours no medicine

I also dislocated my hip on a table on the glacier at whistler. Crashed a misty 7 short, right butt cheek hit first on the end of the table and as soon as it hit, my hip got knocked out to the rear. I bounced down the landing and in the air, I could see that my leg was not where it was supposed to be. I couldn't tell if it was dislocated or if I broke my other femur right by the head of the bone... 3 hour download from hell with no medicine, dislocated hip.

I hurt myself skating and playing basketball, but never skiing. I've been pretty roughed up before though, bruised hips and whatnot

in 03 i overshot a 60 footer at Buttermilk doing a 360. I overshot by like 30 feet, i dunno maybe more, anyway, i landed sideways and the impact pushed my tibia through my left ankle's growth plate... i had a screw put in through the growth plate so I could grow normally... yea it blew

I bruised my rib falling of of a ghetto up-rail and it hurt like a bitch. The rail was normally flat, but my mountain is ghetto and poor so they put snow under it and it was mad sticky

 
sprained thumb, kept skiing. Or that one time i got boner heels from casing a step up (boner heels are where all the blood rushes to your heel and it gets kinda floppy yet than turns hard. Pretty gross.) i guess i'm lucky and suck to much.

Broke my left humerus bone (upper arm) near the shoulder joint then shoved the bone up into my arm pit and Dislocated my shoulder at the same time. So they had to pop back in the stub then reset the bone with a pin (6 months of my life wasted)

concussion last weekend. i was really out of it and had to watch nascar all afternoon because i couldn't understand anything else on the tv and any kind of thinking gave me a headache.

I broke 3 ribs on a kink rail 2½ weeks ago and it still hurts like hell. can't ski yet and may have to wait for another week or so, man this sucks .

2-3 inches scar on tha back of my head with a one inch scar right blelow my eye form a ledge crash. apart from that I,ve been really lucky.

my buddies friend was hittin the 70 foot table up at mount snow this winter, landed really bad, and was knocked unconscious and didn't wake up for 2 weeks and 1 day.

i tore ligaments, and chipped a bone in my thumb...and chipped my two front teeth all on the same fall...i will never look at that box the same way again

My friend has been in the ICU for 3 weeks now, he has been in a drug induced coma, His face is destroyed and both his wrist's are broken , one was a compound so his hand was hangng off. He almost died , he has tubes in his stomach feeding him, he has a resperator breathing for him and he might have brain damage. You all are fucking idiot's , injuruies arent cool.

i drink my milk but i lacerated my splean open last year and i didnt go to the hostpital i was close to dieing cuz i idnt go right away i was pretty lucky to live..i was in ICU for a week then in some other room for 3 days
