Worst injuries you've had or seen

I have never been hurt bad myself, just stitches. I once saw a kid in my class break his leg playing football, and he was just lying on his stomach with his leg hanging at a 90 degree angle. Another bad one i witnessed was when i was biking with some friends and one went to hit a drop and when he was in the air a stick got caught in his front wheel and he went over the bars and faceplanted hard. he ripped his braces right off his teeth. So yeah lets hear some stories
 
I saw someone get taken away on a ski patrol sled after they'd broken one of their femurs...it freaked me out for the rest of the day. I've also seen some pretty nasty bike crashes i.e ripped ears and some really bad scrapes and such

i landed wrong popping off a rail and i put both my arms down to stop my fall and i snapped both my arms
 
Worst self injury - I was riding my bike (with a helmet on) and i managed to fall off the side and smash my head on the curb right above my eye. I had a concussion and fractured my skull after i went to a couple doctors they said i didn't need to have surgery luckily i can still see and everything healed fine.
Worst injury i witnessed - I was on vacation in the BVI it was dark out around 10pm a dinghy was returning to there boat for the night and didn't bring a flashlight so other boats could see them. A drunk man driving a powerboat ran over the dinghy killing 4 people. There were helicopters out all night with divers searching for the people in the water. It was scary.
 
When I was like 9 i was at McDonalds and some kid ran by and bumped into this like 30 year old lady and she fell and slammed her head off the side of the building...all stone and she died
 
haha this season doing a backflip i cut my lower lip off my mouth it was basicly hanging off and also got a concusion.. i had over 50 stitches in my mouth
 
Last year me n my dad were driving home from a bbq when suddenly a mad biker passes us by the right hand side, just before a traffic light.We call him crazy, but luckily nothing happened.A bit further down the road we see a car suddenly braking, we approach and what we saw wasn't a pretty sight, apparently, from what i could make of it, the biker tried to pass the car in front of us, just like he passed us, but he didnt see that by the side of the road there was a parked truck trailer.So he smashed straight into the back of the trailer (it was an open trailer for loading containers) and he basically got cut in half, his bike and lower body were under the trailer and his torso was lying behind the trailer on the ground, so it probably flew over it....
the sickest thing i ever saw, by far! :(
 
i watched a guy get paralyzed in a hare scramble..he hit a root and it sent him right into a tree head first..next lap they had him on a stretcher..at the end of the race i was talking to the track owner and he said he was paralyzed from the waist down

and the race at that track before that happened a this guys quad rolled on him and it collapsed his lungs and he ended up dying
 
In a highschool baseball game i was playing in a kid on the other team ran into another kid full speed and cracked his neck and was taken away on a stretcher and he ended up paralyzed from the neck down
 
when i was younger i had an outdoor rink in my backyard and we'd go play hockey on it. One day my brother had a friend over, they were getting ready to go out and play and my other brother was standing there talking to them, my brothers friend accidently stepped on my brothers barefoot with his skate cutting his tendon. I was in the other room and heard a loud scream, ran in and he was holding his foot with blood literally spraying out. Luckily he was rushed to the hospital and had a 3 hour surgery to reconnect the tendon which sprung up into his knee and seal up the massive gash. That image of the blood spraying out still haunts me to this day.
 
i was bmxing with my friend one day, and i crashed hard off a jump. i check if im injured and it doesnt look like i am. i stand up and my friend comes over to me and goes 'dude, your leg'. it turns out the bmx peg had gone into my leg during the crash. i got like tons of stitches. the scar looks so gnarly, its pretty cool.
 
my arm was the worst ive had, and one of the worst non-lethal injuries ive seen.
a few years ago up skiing we saw a kid racing GS catch an edge and go off course, head first into a tree, he never got up. =/
 
oh jesus I remember this one.

like what happened to zednik last year except about a thousand times worse imo.
