Worst day of the season

This morning I got up and waxed my skis, I thought I did a decent job but I didn’t scrape off all of the wax. When I got out the on the hill my skis were sticking like crazy, I tried one run and almost ate it at least 3 times from sticking. I then go to the repair shop and they scrape off the remaining residue from the wax, I go out on the chair again and still stick to the ground, I wasted my entire afternoon trying to get my skis fixed. The people at the repair shop were really kind and eventually got it sorted out after a few runs. The snow was icy and it was cold (sorry for bitching) I didn’t have enough layers as well. Hopefully I have a good night ski.

Probably sticking due to the snow and not residual wax. After a couple runs the excess wax should come off

It is still sticking, I am night skiing now, but it’s better than before, I think it’s the snow as well now

gotta get the right wax for the snow temp...Also was snow being made, and possibly blowing up towards chairlift at all? That can get slushy ice on your bases that would stick to cold natural

Buckle up...

Forgot a boot, someone brought it for me on the afternoon but i got free rental boots. Get my boots at a different lodge, break my binding, rent skis and ski the boots to the other lodge, by that time I already had to turn the skis in. Also lost my gloves. Tell me how bad your day was...
