WORST DAY OF SKIING

word, high pain threshholds are the tits, broke my shoulder and it just felt like i bruised it, then in an hour it didnt go away, so i waited for like 2 hours, found out a kid had fallen off a chairlift, waited some more, and then got treated. fun times

to the OP, a bad day of skiing is better than a good day at work/school ;)
 
I can top that:

I broke my wrist on my atv while camping, rode back to camp on the back of my friends atv, packed up camp and headed out. On the way out we get stuck in a snow drift for a solid 45 minutes. We finally get out and head for the nearest towns(which was still an hour out) hospital. We drive around there for about another 45 mins. looking for the hospital and decide fuck it, we'll just drive back to my town which was about 2.5-3 hours of driving away and go to the hospital there. We get there around noon and im in the ER waiting room for about 2 hours before hearing shit about shit. Finaly they talk to me for a little, still no meds tho. Long story short I was at the hospital for 12 FUCKING HOURS before a doctor could see me! At that point its about 1 am and the doc drugs me up and puts me in traction, I leave around 3 am. Worst hospital experience ever! But heres the Kicker:

The reason the doc took so long? He came from the FUCKING TOWN WE LOOKED FOR THE HOSPITAL IN!!!!! I was pissed the FUCK off!

I broke my left wrist 2 years ago tryin flat 7's....
overshot the jump by a fuck ton and just smashed it.. then it went as follow

around the age of 50... FML.

*fully meaning I have limited mobility and a massive scar
 
ur botth pusses i had a bluefish hook stuck in my head but my dads a doctor so i didnt have to wait...they pushed the hook all the way through cut the barb off and pushed it back through...didnt feel a thing
 
Yesterday. Shittiest park setup ever the lips to th rail was too small so i cought my ski underneath broke it and fractured my patela on the rail
 
to just follow up on my original post, surgery went fine on wednesday, they put in 4 screws and a plate, my wrist is currently in a splint with a sling. monday ill go back to have the stitches hopefully removed and then be put in a hard cast for around 2 months. i plan on going through therapy after and hopefully ill be able to do some spring skiing! baseball season is def over for me but i guess things could be worse
