whats the worst crash youve ever seen, video or real life..... simon dumonts in war hurts me when i watch it.
 
I saw a guy break his neck at A basin. At Killington I saw a kid compound fracture his leg in a mogul field. on video dumonts for sure
 
have you seen wilsons? 185 ft... well more like 175 ft to a 45 degree uphill slope. Broken back in 3 places, punctured lung, broken and torn stuff everywhere

hermann maier was bookin it at mach 10 (downhill race at the nagano olympics) so he was easily going 70mph when he bailed, crashed thru fenses an shit.. totally gnarly. i remember seeing it right on tv. everybody thought he was dead, just lay there lifeless.
 
did you see uhhh bill johnson's the ski racer... i think thats his name. it was at my mountain (big mountain) it was soo bad, everyone thought he was dead also. i thought that picture was his at first, but its not
 
watched my buddy tomahawk down 100ft face then bounce twice off the rocks on an 80 ft cliff...he was ok. Saved by his avy shovel on his pack. Scariest thing i've witnessed tho.
 
oh man i had a gnarly bail back when i raced that tore ligaments in both my knees. still have a weak left knee to this day because of it; it happened about 5 years ago, and i couldn't walk for a few weeks. scary shit man.. thank god the teenage body is quick healing.
 
A friend of mine at the belgian championships big air 2004

Switch 180, totally off balance overshot the landing big time, landed on his shoulder.

Broke his clavicula and back.

He's still skiing now with a large ass piece of metal up his back, spinning on jumps and all

it's in yearbook. It is seriously the worst crash by far. Probably as bad as Tanner and Dumonts together. 185 ft gap, came up short
 
Tom Wayes in Booter Crunk. Worst i've ever seen a helmet. Plus five surgeys, Tanners or Simons dosn't come close. The dude bounces off a cliff face. Tomhawks right into it.
 
simon's was scary, but mostly cause i was there when it happened. watching the footage afterwards was rediculous.
