Worst collision

Not my worst, but definately my scariest. The guy waxed, I didn't, and he didn't think to aim next to me.

We collided mid air, but rode away clean in each others' arms though :)

theres one thing that happens every week at the indoor slope, the landings of the kickers get worn down so there is a dip in the middle, some snowboarders land sideways and just slide down the ice into a bunch of people waiting to go on the box
 
Me and a friend were tucking down the hill after a childrens race ages ago. My friend was in front and round a blind corner plowed into the front of a piste basher. I had to slam the brakes on and ended up with my edges dug into a tree. He went to hospital but no major damage. Kids bounce.
 
on time i was skiing at nevis range, scotland and was skiing way two fast comming into a strip of snow at the bottom of the lift, tried to slam the breaks on and hit a bump, went flying back first into a snow fence at full speed, smacked my knee of my face and gave my self concussion, but im such a stud i continued skiing.
 
This guy sounds like some kind of a skiing superhero. Just trying to think whats going through the kids mind at that point.

And fortunately I havent ever had any bad collisions
 
SO mi was in Germany skiing and me and my brother were on this litlle mountain. We were lookin for some fun stuff to hit and we found his sick gap over a t-bar to a powder landing. So we hit this thing alot and all these german people were like "SUPER". so funny... So then I go to hit it again and i wasnt lokin and i jumped the gap but there was this little german kid at the bottom. i landed on him and he got so mad. he stood up and started yelling at me in German. I was like "WTF get out of the way"

I tryed to spray snow on a bunch of friends waiting at the bottom of a park, but the snow was too icey and i ended up taking like 3 of them out, i felt like a dick
 
this isnt a collision but its kinda funny and was close to it
We were at my mountain and my friend just pulled a dick movie on me, i forget what but i see him waiting at the side of the trail and i was a ways up so i bomb and straight up own him spraying him, and then when the snow clears i realize it was the wrong kid, i was like oh shit and the kid actually was cool with it, i felt so bad though
 
My friend was skiing in Alta and was taking the supreme acces road off of Devils elbow on Sugar loaf. Right when he got on the acces road he came to a point were two cat tracks meet. He found one person lying on the run and another over buy a tree. It turned out that the man by the tree was dead and the other guy got a sevier concusion and was totally knocked out. So my friend basically found a dead guy.
 
it wasnt a collision but it was a real bad crash. i was skiing with my friend who is like two years older than me and at the time he was a junior and i was a freshman and he doesnt ski park and doesnt have twins. so first run of the day he just goes bombing down the hill into the park hits the first jump and tries to backflip and he over rotated and broke his spine and snapped both his skis in half and he couldnt walk for 6 months
 
opening day at PC skiing switch down homerun and hit by some 40 year old lady who was out of control.
Woke up in the trauma center days later with amnesia, herniated discs in my neck, crushed vertabrae, and major contusion above eye.... fuck that bitch
 
I saw 2 guys colliding mid air on a 60f step down.

The jump was built pretty bad as you couldnt see the landing when dropping in. There was a small wood between the parkslope and the slope next to it and the jump was built in a bend. I watched the whole thing from the chairlift. There was a boarder dropping in and collecting speed. What he couldnt see was, that there was another guy coming from behind the little wood and using the little knoll the step down was built on as jump. (You have to know that safety precautions in Austria are rather low... so the park wasnt blocked to the sides...)

People shouted from the lift but neither of them could hear them. I started praying that they dont hit each other midair but basically thats what happend. Beanies and googles flew through the air just from the high impact. I still cant believe that no one got seriously injured cause judging from my look both should be dead by now...
 
having the collision at the end was shameless self promotion haha but it worked cause that was sick, I loved and HATED those helmet cam pow shots, made me want to ski pow sooooooo bad, and we got no snow and I live in Canada! Guess I won't have a home untill I have snow to make my igloo haha (americans lol)
 
I don't think Americans all think we live in igloos, but its hard to believe that ANYONE in north America would think that Canadians all live in igloos lol I guess skiers are more open minded to Canada since we have such good skiing tho hehe just not where I live right now =(
 
i got 2. both about me
i was in the park of my local mountain where basically few people actually know how to ski. i was hittin the biggest kicker in the park (about 30 ft. table haha). i usually like to speed check right before i pop. there was a group of like 10 gapers standing on the table off to the side. so right as im comin up to the jump one of the kids standing on the side turns out and goes out right on the landing. i dont have time to stop and get distracted from the kid who im about to kill so i forget to speed check and i completely overshoot the landing by about 20 ft right onto flat solid ice. good news tho i wasnt hurt to bad and the kid who caused all of this just skied by unharmed without stopping
the second one i was out west with my family skiing. me and my brother were bombing this blue and it had 2 small sections of trees that were in the middle of the run and were about 20ft apart. we are on opposite sides of the run and we both decide to cross through the middle section right after the first section of the trees finished. he run over my skis and i get ejected all the way to the tree bank. once again the other person doesnt even have a scratch
 
Me and my friends were on the chair and these three guys were bombing the fastest groomer at there, like in a line. The first guys hat blew off, he stopped hard, and the other two guys hit him.
 
At my local mountain we had this "Big Air" comp in 2007. The whole lower section of the park was closed off so that the competitors wouldn't have any problems dropping in. So im like 40 feet below the drop in where their is as little flat spot with my camera setup to do i little filming and the snowboarder goes right around the closed area signs tryin to be a badass and boards through a crowd to hit the d rail with way to much speed. Not to fear cause he lost it all when he went frontside right into my chest. I had a decent concussion and a couple of broken ribs. He got up and tried to get to the bottom but ski patrol stopped him and kicked him off the mountain. I'm just glad he didn't get me in the neck :/
 
I've been hit a bunch, but nothing worth writing about. This is the

worst collision I've ever seen. Both could have easily died.
