Worst christmas ever (please read)

So to start, both my brother and i are grounded for doin stupid shit, and so now were both grounded untill the end of break. my mom is getting us books that we have to read and finish by the end of this week, my dad is making us play wall ball and run every day (lacrosse), and now i have to go to church and save a seat for my family like 45 minutes earlier then mass actually starts. were grounded from the computer and the t.v. and friends.

to top things off, one of my good friends just died last night. his mom found him dead in the bathroom this morning. he was drinking and doing some type of drug, and his family wasnt in good shape as it is. its still so hard to believe cuz he was such a funny kid.

just wanted to say to all newschoolers for this break, please make smart decisions. both you and your familys dont need something this terrible on one of the greatest times of all year. So lets keep the drugs and alchohal to a limit and not go too crazy. theres a fine line between having fun and being stupid.

well to look on the bright side..... you could get the book angels and demons and enjoy reading! but i feel for you.

sorry to hear about that man.. the past year has been a drag for me too ...one of my good frends also have died along with my very close cousin and aunt.
 
I'm so sorry that your friend died, but you have to take this things the best as they are. Remember how precious life is, and how you never know what you will lose or have tommorow.

Wether he commited suicide, or it was by accident, remember that he probably loved you, and wanted you to keep living, make the best of your time.

Personally that grounding is probably good for you too. You get to read(relax), have time to accept and rationalize your friend, talk to god in church(providing unlike me, that you are religious). As well, you are with your family.

I'm really sorry about your friend.

To other people here, think about this story when you tell someone to cut themselves, make fun of people, or bastardize anyone. EVERYONE is someone's friend, and the only thing worse than their death, is the pain left behined.
 
Not to take advantage of his death for a point, but remember what drugs and alcohol can do to you. I've lost friends to drugs, and I would hate to see a death from them affect anyone else in this community.
 
over thanksgivving one of my friends died. i sat next to him 1st peroid of school every day. he got hit by a truck when he was in fl. it was shitty. but why r u grounded
 
failed a history test then got caught trying to get back inside the house at 3:30 the next night. my mom couldnt sleep so she went down stairs, what are the odds...
 
Its happened to me too. Odds suck... But I feel for you man, just remembered to keep breathing, and it'll get easier. I hate when friends die...
 
Weird, this kid at my old high school was on vacation and was skateboarding down in FL when he got hit by a truck recently, one of the roughest things to happen to our town in awhile... that kid was awesome.

More to the point, I can't even imagine having a Christmas like that... I feel for you, man. Do your best to relax and make the best of it. Good luck.

seriously though sorry about your friend, but the worst thing you can do is let his death keep you from living your life to the fullest. im sure that the last thing he would want is to see you stop doing what you love due to his death. and no, i don't mean that he wants you to drink beer and do drugs. what i mean is that you shouldnt get depressed. try to get over it and return to living your life.

or did you think i was too stupid to know what a eugoolalie is?
 
Im very sorry for you but be happy you have a roof over your head. people deal with death everyday and dont even havve a real home, real heat, real education. Not saying this like if that happend to me i would be doin the same thing and i to take advantage of life
 
yo. fuck everyone who has said something degrading or rude in this thread. we are all sitting at home on christmas eve enjoying ourselves while this kid is looking for someone to make his day alittle better. have a little respect for people.

buddy, im truely sorry to hear about your friend. i hope his friends and family pay proper tribute to him. and also, i hope you make the best of your holidays even though your grounded
 
well said. i can't believe what dicks some people are. there are times when it is funny to joke around, but not when someone just had a friend die and is looking for support.
