Worst book ever

After reading it a few times I've come to the conclusion that this is accually a pretty solid book..not bad at all.

The spelling goes a couple different ways. Since it doesnt officially get translated out of arabic characters there are a couple phonetic versions. If you read posts though, it shows that the vocal NS community isn't knowledgeable about the bible either but have no problem openly mocking it and belittling it. My point was that people should understand things before they hate them, and if they're going to use the shield of making jokes or whatever, they should mock all the things equally rather than just going with what is cool to hate (they call that bigotry some places).

probably one of my favorite books. It takes a while to read, but it's worth it. I went through it sophomore honors english...it was hell until I read it at my own pace, on my own. way easier going slower.

and I FUCKING LOVE CATCHER IN THE RYE. I don't even see how you can hate that book. It's not even boring.

I really don't think there is a book I can't stand. Things Fall Apart wasn't one of my favorites but I can appreciate the concepts and philosophies Achebe was displaying. I don't really think I can say that there is a book that is the "worst one ever." Maybe the most hyped book that is the worst written is Harry Potter, or most of the books that are out there on the NY bestseller bullshit.

read the Koran, it was better than the Bible, much better. there are actually lessons to be learned in that book, without resorting to the glorification of ritual sacrifice or mass murders. i doubt anybody who has read the Koran could possibly hate it, aside from somebody who is extremely against all religions or religions they don't practice. The Koran is art, the Bible is not.

from what i hear a clockwork orange is pretty brutal, i read the first page ahah...and no im not one of those ignorant people who have never finished a book, i can read just fine but that first page was retarded

the movie on the other hand...

my least favorite books

any religious books

self help books, most notably The Secret

thats about it

I hated all the shakespeare books I had to read in english not becuase they suck I do understand why they are so important Im really just not into that kind of stories. I had to read of mice and men in english to but we read it in class with each kid reading a characters line I hated every minute of it but Im sure if I read it on my own I would have enjoyed it

I havent read twilight but I hate how its made every girl thats read it think theyre going to find someone as good as edward cullen WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN

also my mum gave me "so he takes the dog" to read shittiest book Ive ever read

Word Jane Austen is the boringest bitch to pick up a pen I had to read Sense and senseibilty and its the worst combination of sentnces ever recorded

Wow, I loved a lot of the books that have made this list. Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye? Two of my favorites.

As far as terrible books go....Left Behind. Scary.

I was always like you, always hated shakespeare because it was a waste of time, wasnt helping me learn english, etc. That, and it made me hate reading which i usually quite enjoy. recently I ended up reading romeo and juliet once again and then watched the movie and I actually thoroughly liked it, its just a really cool way to manipulate the language. I understand that not everyone will come to the conclusion, but I have personally found that some things take time, and boredom.

Let me preface this by saying I love to read and I have a huge appreciation for most classics...but Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea is hands down the worst book I've ever read.

WHAT? how could you even remotely dislike the kite runner? that book was awesome! the movie, on the other hand, not so much...well it was crap.
