Worse trampoline injury

ok so i here about all these accidents and shit with trapolines and sence im sure alot of you use them for like training or whatever. whats the worse injurgy you got?
 
well i had a bruise and massive scrape that covered my right thigh(no picture unfortunately) but that was transfering from a tramp to a stone wall
 
ill start off with mine witch im 3 weeks into.

just rolled my ankle doing a 9 nothing else. fractured the bone and pulled the ligiments off the bone in 2 places. (stage 3 sprain) went to the hospital had 2 set of x-rays. went to a ortho specialist had to get an MRI. went back he said i needed surgury. went in for surgury, the ligiments were half inch away from the bone so with out surgury i would never walk right again. now im sitting on a 8 week period where i have to keep it elevated for one week then cant walk on it for the other 7.

it sucks i cant goto work or anything so my fundings for this winters trips is gunna be low.
 
uhhh mine was kinda bad...and will affect me the rest of my life... my cousin tryed to bounce me and i tried to absorb it... and my knee shot up into my face an knowcked one of my front teeth back, but not out.... so i had to get it broken back into place. then i had to get a root canal, which sucks.... so now i have this dead tooth.

and when i go from hot places to cold places.... like skiing to inside i can feel blood drip down into my hollow tooth.

kinda gross eh
 
smuggs has had the ugliest dislocated elbow from a trampoline once. then i have snapped both the tib/fib in my right leg 15 mins into camp on a gymnastics style tramp while landing perfectly fine on my feet, it just snapped...it was awesome.
 
yeah the blood thing is fucking gross..

and yeah i was pissed about rolling my anke just doing a spin i figured if i was to get hurt or something i would backflip off the trampoline or something cool but no.
 
i had a baseball hit me in my mouth and i had to get a root canal and i dont have that same eeling as you so i think sum1 messed up cuz i have a dead tooth also
 
yea i think bob_dole and smuggs take the cake on this one unless someone died.

I was doing cork 5s off the trampoline, i decided to do one bigger, didnt go out enough landed feet first on the metal then i got sprung off the tramp upside down so i put my hands above my head so save my neck, hit the ground... i got up and brushed off my self and someone said your bones are sticking out of your arm, i looked down and my radius and ulna were about 3 inches behind where my elbow joint should have been. it took 5 doctors 30 minutes of trying to put it back into socket with me awake....finally they put me out and got it back in. my elbow was fucked up for 6 months.
 
wow, the worst i have ever had is a tweeked back, which involes a sharp pain in your back for a few days, nothing compared to this stuff. And occasionaly i get the bumps and burises from fly off, but thats it.
 
i was recently in lake placid, doing some bouncing, one of the kids in our group, was doing a 5 or someghing, came down and landed outside of the tramp on the matts but still spinnning and leg extended fully. He fell on the ground and started screaming grabbing his leg, we thought he was just joking, and he continued, so coaches came over. When he left to the hospital, the back of his knee, like the inside part was all black and blue and extremely sweelled. Turns our he blew out his knee, broke his patella or seomthing like that, and and artery in the back of his knee broke or soemthing and caused internal bleeding. He had to go through 4 surgerys after he was air lifted from the first hospital to a bigger one.
 
Its either when i broke my ankle getting bounced from a 20 year old when i was 7 or when i tried a sode flip off the tramp, flaied in air, and landed completely flat on my back, took the breath right out of me
 
i fell off one time on my friends onto a picket fence with my back on it luckly my spine was inbetween the 2 posts. that could have been death. im goin to jump on my right now though
 
damn i guess im pretty lucky comparied to what happened to you guys. and im sure someone has been paralized but they wouldnt be on this site no more to tell us about it... shitty.
 
Yeah, I know a guy who broke his neck pretty badly on one. He wasn't paralyzed but had a really long recovery, permanent handicap pass on the car and all of that...
 
hell yeah i got a hanicap pass 2 but i cant fuckin drive. its my right foot and even if it wasnt my car is a manual so i cant drive it anyway. not to mention i got the car last week and i havent even been able to drive it once!!! pisses me off
 
whats a sode flip?

i got double bounced by my friend trying to do a double frontflip, over rotated it and ended up on the net with my neck. i was like holy shit and everyone at school thought i tried to hang myself, and i got sent to guidence, social humiliation.
 
i have only rolled ankles and such, but there was a girl at the UOP like 2 years ago jumping maybe 3 feet high, and she did a 5 and drifted and landed awkward with 1 foot on the pad one foot on the tramp and ended up dislocating her knee (the one on the pad) completley out of her knee, so her tibia/fibula shot up through her knee... the most knarly thing ever
 
i tried a linclon loop and landed on my side. the side of my shin hit the metal bar around the edge, and now theres a weird shape in my leg. its like ------___-------(if the leg is sideways)
 
wow some of you guys have some bad trampoline injuries. ive had my tramp for my whole life and i havent had one injury and i do all the extreme moves
 
my back is messed up but not just from a tramp but it makes it worse so i cant jump really. My vertebreit(sp) are not the rectangular shape they should be looking at them from the side they kinda look like triangles making my back look like i could be a hunchback..also one of my lower ones are a little twisted which grinds up on the other ones and hurts like hell...lastly not to do with a tramp but i have an extra vertebreit
 
went to the docs today and found out that i have 8 weeks left and its alrdy been 3 just for a sprain. i didnt know it could be that serious.
 
I wouldn't necessarily call it an injury but the worst bruise I got was from landing on my shins on the metal frame edge... luckily the padding softened the impact.
 
i think i have the worst... my little cousin timmy did a front flip and landed in the rusty springs, the spring sliced his leg open and it got infected, they had to amputate it.. after he fell off the spring with a cut leg he dislocated his shoulder
