Worried about invaders

So I guess I'm getting some invaders, which I'm pretty stoked on because I'm an east coast park skier, but the only issue is that I do hit 40-60 foot jumps as much as possible, and I'm really worried that the invaders are too washy to give me a solid landing or will give out if I dont stomp perfectly. Any experiences with them on larger jumps or words of wisdom?
(I've been trying to get 07 08 volkl walls which are also symmetrical, but they've completely ran out of 177 on the internet)

dude be realistic. you cant have an amazing ski that can do everything you have ever dreamed for 200$.
if you are going to buy a pricepoint ski like the invader, dont expect to much out of it.
if you want a ski that will be more stable on jumps and have a better plateform to land on, like suggested get the anthems u will thankd yourslef in the end.

i would go for the walls over the anthems

but mos def anthems over invaders

you will be alot happier with the anthems than with the invaders but the walls are alot better quality

look around and you should be able to find the anthems for around $270

anthems are guna wash out just as much. they are the same flex pattern. my suggestion would be a stiffer ski like the chronic, wall, ar6, ghetto.

dose anybody else realise that the invaders and anthems are the exact same construction other than width?

either way, max hill shreds everywhere on invaders. and max hill is the man.

invaders will hold up fine, and on the other hand if they fuck out on you, line has sick warrantys

^^^ yep.

If you want a jib ski go invaders, if you're hitting more jumps than jibs get the walls. The walls aren't bad at jibs, but they're stiffer than the invaders so it takes getting used to.

Or wait till demo day and try them both out. Invaders aren't going to fuck you over on jumps, but they're not the cream o the crop either.

yeah my roomate has invaders and Ive seen him do some pretty gnarly "backslaps" when he is a little to much back seat on those things, same thing switch, sometimes he'll land and just pop straight back up into the air, those butter zones are like springs. says there really fun on rails though and buttering around having fun, they just kinda feel like toys almost. Also wishes he got the anthems especially in the spring when you get that soft snow. Hope that helps from a secondary source.

if they truelly are the exact same construction, the anthems will be stiffer. width has a lot to do with the stiffness of a ski

beat me to it.

yes its true they have same construction. so same material used in both skis in exactly the same way. but the anthems are 10mm wider, which does make them more stiff. i have anthems, my friend has invaders, mine are stiffer.

go with anthems over invaders

unless invaders are ur only choice of ski becuase you cant afford anything else ok...but if you can i would recomend if u want lines anthems first off but if ur hittin bigger jumps def get something stiffer...if ur as good as u say u are then you should have a ski that can hold up to ur expectations you put on them

^everyone told me they would be alright on bigger jumps... 25 feet jump is hella small idk if you know... but yeah i hope they will hold up on bigger jumps there was 2 people with them last year and they were killing it so i guess they dont "wash out" that bad on jumps...

yea i mean it also has to do with how big you are. cause if your pushing 180+ then invaders will def wash out on something 25/30+ where they are going to be better if your closer down in the 130/40/50 range.

I'm sure that you will do fine with the invaders, they rule on rails and butters. For jumps they are a little soft but I mean, Thomas Dolplads used them in xgames slopestyle....

your talking out of your assphictor right now. do you honestly believe that? sure theyll wash out if your 180 hitting a 40+ foot jump and landing back seat, or too far off center, but they arent going to just wash out no matter wat especially on such a small jump
