Buzkashi is a traditional Central Asian team sport played on horseback in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, northern Pakistan, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China and Kazakhstan. The object of the game is to grab a decapitated goat while riding on horseback at full gallop and pitch it across a goal line or into a target circle or vat.
