if your heroin addiction is bad enough to actually start taking a drug that will kill you in 2 years, it's not really something you can control, your brain is too fucked up to know to stop and your addiction has taken over.

yeah, you can still control it. they just choose to focus on the now instead of the two years from now because they don't want to deal with the three days of kickin' as it fucking sucks. however, it won't kill you. on the other hand, the drug in the op completely relieves one of the ability to make a conscious decision.
 
it's basically like cooking meth, except with opiates. they take codeine pills (which are available otc pretty much everywhere but the US) and they cook it in to deso-morphine to produce a heroin/morphine like high. however, the cooking process is incredibly crude and produces some pretty toxic chemicals as a byproduct...end result is your flesh rots off of your skin. gnarly shit.

Its when they miss while injecting themselves that infects the skin and the drug starts to eat away at their flesh.
 
it's not the desomorphine that rots the skin. desomorphine was actually commercially sold under the name Permonid for quite some time. however, junkies don't have lab grade desomorph.

when junkies synthesize desomorphine from codeine pills, they use some nasty chemicals in the process...gasoline, paint thinner, hydrochloric acid, iodine, and red phosphorus. the end result is by no means a clean substance...they don't filter out the impurities, etc., they just shoot it up.

yes, you can add the detail that they miss their shot as part of the process, but i didn't think that detail was all that important as ultimately it's all of the nasty shit mixed in with the drug that causes the skin rotting...not the actual desomorphine itself.

 
The very last story in this video from the guy who had his stuff stolen gave me the chills. No, I'm fucking serious that shit is messed up, especially when he said it in such a casual way.

If I had to choose between Krokodile and this shit, I would choose Krokodile. Although it's much more addictive and harmful to the body, I'd rather take one dose and fight the possible addiction (It's like 100x more addictive than heroin), than take one dose of this shit and run the risk of losing everything and possibly killing someone.

and scopolamine vs krokodil, krokodil is definately worse as a drug in the sense that you're hurting yourself until you die very quickly, but this devil's breath bullshit is definitely more dangerous in how people use it on you. either they rape you, rob you, or they kill you or all 3. fucking is columbia man. scary stuff, I hope this shit never makes its way in to the rest of the world.

yeah you guys are pretty much in agreement. every animal with a cns below humans has the instinctual notion that its an entity that chooses its own future. otherwise they would just sit there and wait for shit to happen.

level 2- realize your body is an ongoing self sustaining chemical reaction. ie ur not alive

level 3- realize you could not have done anything differently in ur life. wait 10 seconds. realize you could not have done anything differently in the last 10 seconds without a cause having an effect on you that originated from outside the universe. repeat until your on the level

yeah, but i thought those two guys were going to try it themselves. obviously that would have been a bad decision, but it seemed like that's what it was leading to. instead they just made a few comments about how serious it is and flushed it down the toilet.
