I say yes for sure.

nouex les mines? Its crazy good..i heard they were building a huge dry ski slope texas...i might be wrong, but its supposed to be bigger and better than this one in france

When will England build something this sick, the best we have in the SW is "Avon Ski & Action Centre." (I am yet to visit)

Get north! at rossendale we have the biggest qp in the uk, fair decent kickers, flat down urban rail , box, and soon to be a wall ride , pvc pipe and flat down box. still miles from snow, and its still snow flex but it could be worse. Halifax and bearsden are pretty sick to (never been to bearsden though)

Was that a mogul line to the left? Wow. What is that stuff like to land on? Rock solid or what

That is pretty cool though.

Haha I saw another video of this place posted last year at about this time. That stuff looks pretty dope, but I guess it's really expensive. Did they say in the video how long it lasts? I was watching with the sound off.

yea i do, and yea there are some sick setups up north, but the Southwest has a shitty snow sports scene, its pretty poor...

COP should make a dry slope so I don't have to go to COC if I want to ski in the summer haha. Besides, COP could totally do it, they have the funding and the space, and they have so many skiers and snowboarders who would go that it would be great business.

ah a fine point. ye me n grifter pretty much head inside for a brew ( a mug of tea to you lot ) every time the snow comes round.

haha, i've actaully skiied there, i have family who live in bristol..it wasn't the best time skiing i've had..

Thanks for sharing this vid man. I'd love to try doing that some time, I still remember when the stuff was neon plastic and people said it was similar to riding on ice with less control.

not at all, from my experience when my family went to Colorado for the march break, we met many families that had driven up from Texas to ski. A good 70% of the families at our hotel that we met were from Texas, and they seemed pretty stoked for the chance to ski some real mountains. So i would say there is a marker there for sure.

you have to adjust your technique, it will not hold an edge aswell as snow etc. and is slower (but not to bad) its still fun to ride on, it also has few inches of foam under the flex, so when you fall its not like falling onto concrete with a brush on top, but it still hurts more than snow i'd say (not including ice!). it also gives you friction burns which are a pain in the arse (literaly)

With a lot of practise and adaption yes, its a lot harder to ski slalom etc. on dry slope, we're not better or anything its just our slopes are shitter, i used to race a bit on it. sharp edges help, which get blunted in seconds, and you have to kind of force your skis around, so ye you do skid more, but you can still carve

that looks pretty dope, i would like it for the summer, its tooo synthetic for me to love it though i think... there was actaully some pretty dope features though,

This would be the sickest thing in edmonton...though there probably wouldn't be enough funding for it.

I"d shred a dry slope!! i wish they had one near me. or one of those indoor places. those look way sick
