World Tour is happening!

Oh and for SURE at least one of the events should be broadcast live on the internet, and we set up a system to have online judging and give out a cash prize for "People's Choice" for one of the contests.

How sick would that be?

 
That would be so sick, and I like WTF hahaha.

North American Open was sick, all 3 of the jumps in slope where the best jumps I've ever hit, I'd been trying to find a jump I could do kangaroo's on all season so thanks Jon. I'm not gonna lie though that pipe wasn't the greatest, not that I got to compete I gave myself a concussion the day before. YAY
 
i like IFT....also maybe world skiing tour (WST for short)...

you dont need a stupid name, just something like the surfers WCT....it also allows people from the public to know what the fuck the event is!!! no shame in copying surfing its worked for them...

Another thing, do you think that if the world tour happened that the "stops" should be events that have been running for the last few years e.g nippon, US open etc.......or get a system that uses same judges, same format etc etc?? just a thought! The stops should be all around the world i think....one or two in North America, 2 in Europe, 1 in scandinavia, NZ, maybe australia, Japan etc.

The name can't have any combination of World & Freeskiing in it. The IFSA (International Free skiers Association) World Tour already exists and has for a couple years. It's a big mountain tour, and many of their events have the term "freeskiing" in their name. We don't want things to be more confusing than they have to be.

World Ski Tour or World Newschool Tour would be more appropriate and less confusing.

No the QS sucks they go to places with super shitty waves, so the skiing QS has to go to shitty parks and mountains to compete, and when they get to the good waves they will be grateful.
 
Yo they cant be open comps. They have to have a legit number of guys on the tour, then whoever sponsors the event can throw in a few of their team riders, as wildcards like dane reynolds is sponsored by boost mobile, and got a wild card into the boost mobile pro at trestles last year.

hey cheswick I was jking somebody before me said that the QS follows the world tour around when they dont and they go to places where theres really shitty waves, excpet when the went to the maldives or somewhere in the pacific islands and some other places but the majority of the time the waves suck. It would be super funny to see nasty ams skiing the shittiest parks at the shittiest locations though then they would be super amped to make it to the tour

you have to be careful so you dont run the risk of having two many events, not enough filming and training time

how about 2 in canada, two in us, two in europe, 1 in scandi, 1 in asia and one in nz/aus

by not really you must mean HELLLLL NO! there will never be a good skiing comp in the uk, the brits aren't even the uk! this is for a reason, britain sucks. i need to move.
 
yea, I know I want to live in Switzerland or at least somewhere with skiable snow, I get like 3 weeks a year... at the most, and there are no decent indoor slopes for hundreds of miles
 
organization is the key word to all of this. someone had to do it for all mainstream sports at some point. Jon is def. the man to do it.

Sick! Im stoaked to watch it! Not so stoaked that every other kid/gayper in the park will be riding twin tips once it drops...

But my current location prohibits that from effecting me so much so my + stoak out weighs my - stoak!
 
It should absolutely not have"World Tour" in it. That exists already for big mountain. Same issue with putting "freeskiing" in the title unless it's done in a way that makes this sound totally different.
 
An official name of World Freeski Tour/Series or International Freeski Tour/Series would command the most respect from non freeski industries and media.
